In the beginning chapters when he has the idea to go back to before the evil hero has his rebirth power to permanently kill him…but he can still travel to the past (when he doesn’t have the rebirth power either). How is he able to kill himself the day before he acquires the power and not die for good, but the person with the power originally does die the day before they acquire it?

It’s a clear double standard, the evil hero can die the day before he gets the skill but the MC can kill himself 4000 times going back 11yrs before he got that same skill. If you go back in time to a point before you acquire something how do you explain him having it? What the writer could’ve done is something like, a poison to put the evil hero into a coma and immediately damage his spinal cord to turn him into a living vegetable THEN kill him some weeks or months later since he can only go back 24hrs which would still have him in the coma even if he went back in time🤷🏾♂️

MC is the one dying, he's the one going back in time and retaining his memories and skills, not anyone else, so flame emperor doesn't retain anything when MC kills himself. It's clearly explained and not a double standard.
