    Sir when you say Greater Splanchnic nerve arises from T5-T9 Ganglia, do you mean also arises from Th5-Th9 thoracic Segment of spinal cord?

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Рік тому

      Yes. It is true

    • @derdankbare7639
      @derdankbare7639 Рік тому

      @@AdelBondokthank you sir and just to make sure: this is because white communicating branch of these splanchnic nerves do not travel within the sympathetic trunk but are interconnected on same height, at the respective sympathetic ganglion as the respective spinal cord segment?

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Рік тому

      Preganglionic fibers enter the sympathetic ganglia of the same level and either:
      1. Synapse (relay) and the postganglioc fibers join the corresponding spinal nerve by the grey rami communicate.
      2. Pass through the ganglia without relay and form the splanchnic nerves (are preganglionic fibers).
      See the video of the autonomic innervation of the abdomen).

    Is it true that jejunum is supplied by both Greater n lesser splancnic nerves?

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  4 роки тому

      It is the duodenum, not the jejunum because the duodenum has 2 parts: part from the foregut and part from the midgut.
