CA HPV Vaccination Roundtable presents "Health Plan Virtual Forum on Advancing Adolescent Immunization"

Health plans play a vital role in advancing adolescent immunization, and low HPV vaccination consistently hinders adolescent immunization (HEDIS IMA-2) performance. On-time vaccination matters: the HPV vaccine can prevent over 90% of cancers caused by HPV when given by age 13. The California HPV Vaccination Roundtable, a coalition of diverse stakeholders led by the American Cancer Society, California Dialogue on Cancer, CDPH Immunization Branch, and California Immunization Coalition, is proud to be hosting a Virtual Health Plan Forum on Advancing Adolescent Immunization on Tuesday, August 27th from 10am-12pm PT.
Our virtual forum will convene health plan representatives from throughout California to build knowledge and urgency around advancing HPV immunization, learn about evidence-based approaches and available resources, and hear from a panel of health plans working on innovative efforts to improve HPV vaccination. We encourage health plans (Medi-Cal and Commercial) to participate as a team by including departments such as Medical Directors, Quality Improvement, Population Health, Health Education, HEDIS, Provider Relations, Marketing, and Pharmacy.
