It was something regarding Jeff's true paternity - if I remember correctly it was a letter Cecil had written years ago which Connie and Jeff obtained from Alexis (this was to be used as part of Connie's defense against Sable's suit to prove her mentally incompetent on account of giving Philip's share of Colby Enterprises to Jeff instead of Miles. However, the letter is later retrieved from the fireplace by Sable and Adam reveals some more information which compromises Connie's defense). Anyway I'm wondering was there not a path going forward so Sable didn't have to back up and accidentally on purpose run over Connie. I know Sable was in a rush but if she couldn't see Connie she shouldn't be driving.
I know Sable was shook up by hitting Connie whilst backing up but couldn't she take a moment to put some ice in her Scotch - it tastes better on the rocks.
The rivalry between Connie and Sable was epic...! The show was never the same once Barbara Stanwyck opted out.
Poor Sable- all she was trying to do was back recklessly out of her parking space at an unsafe speed.
Sable Colby was the Lady Macbeth of 80's tv.
