I'm so happy that they waited to bring them together until they had both dealt with the people they were dating. It would have been a mess if Dim and Juicy had had a night together before Lucy broke up with her boyfriend, tainted the purity that it Chenford. They're beautiful ❤️

I agree. It would have just been about sex if they hooked up before she broke up with Chris. At that point the blond chick had already left Tim..while he was in the hospital recovering from being shot...because that was classy...but by having them finally sit down together and acknowledge the feelings they have and then making her single before they went on a real date, it shows that Tim really respects her. He could have slept with her under cover and she would have let him, but he wanted it to be real.

Lucy and Tim are just starting out in their relationship but they have been in love for years. Even when he was her T.O., he protected her more than his other rookies and she was there for him and supported him through all of his horrible times. He was the one who found her when she was kidnapped. She was the one who stayed up with him in the hospital when he was shot. They would drop everything for eachother in a heart beat no matter who they were dating. I'm so happy these characters are finally together

i had to go back part by part as it show now to check those moments, from the beginning i always loved Tim and Lucy together even when i didn’t know season 5 will be just about them , i wish they get married ❤❤and have kids together 😍🥰😍🫶🏾💯
I think Tim has loved Lucy from the very beginning but their relationship naturally grows into something more and beautiful!
I agree, the spark was there when she was assigned, but neither acknowledged it, it was not conscious. But it was beautiful and awesome the way their love and respect grew. I just pray that the writers keep us on our toes when it comes to their love story. And funny how everyone saw it before they acknowledged it, how Tim denied it and Lucy worked on getting him hitch with others, but she felt the pain (jealous) when he did go out with the other girls, that was the part I enjoyed the most.
Those two are for sure soulmates for life it would be so sad if they were to break up I would cry for at least an hour😂😢

I like the rookie but it's the first series I've watched where am not invested in the relationship which is really strange. I like Tim and Lucy but that will be true whether they are together or not maybe it's because she started out with Nolan first
