Don't think anybody in the NBA even has a behind the back + cup finish game like John Wall. So many highlights you see the guy putting it behind his back while taking some steps and finishing at the rim or above it. People don't even see it coming and he's been doing it consistently and dominating since high school. So quick, so strong. Goodness.

Not always, but he tried to dunk with his left as much as possible in high school b/c he was already good with his right hand. In college and the NBA, he dunks with his right just a little bit more than half the time, but he's just as good finishing at the rim with either side now because he worked on his left so much in real games.

+Josh Williams you're all fucking dumb, in an interview he said for some reason if he tries to dunk with his right, he can't always get the height, but he can with his left. when he dunks righty he jumps off two feet or switches hands after attempting a lefty dunk. cause you dunk off your right foot for a lefty dunk and left foot for a righty dunk and he said "my left foot doesn't have that bounce"

It has improved slightly from last season. He put in tremendous work over the summer and played in little games. The coach said he had one of the hardest working summers in his recent memory. He worked on his floater and his jumpshot but that all went to waste with that stress fracture because you aren't allowed to put pressure on it so he couldn't do stationary drills like players do with other injuries.

I agree, but Wall is the type to go play basketball every single day in the summer, derrick is the type to train and work on his game. Probably why John has all the moves and the handles that he does but it's also the reason that his jumpshot is the way it is, it doesn't take 3 years to improve a jumpshot at least a little bit, theres been no improvement in John's jumpshot, I think he just wants to work around it idk.
It's a shame he ain't get a J in the NBA he would have had a longer career with that in his bag. That slow set shot was cringe 😬 but hey it is what it is.

He has shooting jumpers with accuracy and has lead the Wiz since his return from injury to a 23-19 record, which is pretty damn good considering in the 33 games Wall missed, the Wiz had a 5-28 record. Please watch some wiz games, it is obvious that his jumper has VASTLY improved.
