One of the things I love about watching your channel is how much stuff you have. Makes my collection look small so I can always point it out to the g/f like "look, I don't have a problem."
Hello from a fellow military modeler here in South Korea. I always appreciate your in depth reviews, they help me make a lot of buy decisions. Keep up the great work Rex!
Been silently watching your videos for over 2 years now, started watching while I simply built gunpla out of the box with only a pair of nippers and a hobby blade. Now I’m proud to say I’ve got a much better setup and have learned so much by just watching and paying attention. Still use your diy acrylic thinner and cleaner recipe and haven’t had issues since!
I love my Godhands so much I bought one for my brother. We use the two cut system. First cut away from the part with Xuron clippers and once the part is off the sprue, use the Godhand to remove the rest of the sprue from the part. No stress on the part and clean final cuts.
Hi from the UK, some great products there, love those car display stands. Don't know if you already know this, but if you unscrew the handle end of the Tamiya pin-vice you should find another double ended chuck with 2 different size openings, at least there was in mine 🙂
Wow just wow. I knew you had a large paint collection from watching all your videos, but you are so well organized. I was always curious what your setup was that allowed such great video shots. Thanks for the room tour.
Can you do a video on tools you would recommend for photo etch parts? Your videos are always packed full of tools I never knew existed that make my life easier, and my models looking extra crispy
holy freakin hell... That room is insane man! I don't think I've ever seen/heard of that many paint brands/lines in one place. Looks so nicely laid out too!
One of the purposes of the thin blades like that is for removing tiny add-on details - you can buy resin 3D prints of, for example, bolt heads that you cut off the base plate to add to your miniature for additional detailing, but many cutters can't cut close enough to the base plate, so you need a very thin blade.
Those camo texture masks are nice! This reminds me that I really need to start playing with the vinyl cutter here at the university to start making some larger masking forms of my own!
I need that perfect circle maker. Another great thing it's great for if you paint Mini's you can make a circle in the base and put a magnet to fit the size you make for your mini's for board games and stuff. If I'm not mistaken you can do the same thing to Gundams as well and maybe have 1 in the hand and on the weapon to stay on better but also hold your weapons on the back of them. I got some toys I like to do the same thing too. I can get some use out of that. My list is large right now.
You are an organizing god. I need to steal your ideas. You have 500x as much stuff as I do in half the space but your space is so much nicer than mine. I need a rolling cart… and some shelves…. 🤔 Edit: can you recommend a dremel model that’s good for us Gundam guys?
Dang I need those God Hand spin blades. I need holes for putting magnets into models and that's perfect. I thought I was smart using Brad Point drill bits but those seem much better.
I've wanted to do a couple cars, and i really like that stand! I think thats going to be a buy for me in the future. Now, those cards.... I've held off getting the paint cards because i wanted to see the B cards. I would NEVER had thought to prime in pink. I am not sure what the pros would be... i think it would be good to see what the variations would look like. So i think its going to be a buy of A and B.
Wow Damm man!!! Very Impressive shop & set up!!! What no interest in the model train hobby?? Either way thanks for your inspiration, guidance & encouraging the other hobby modelers!!!
I did trains when I was younger. I would look through the giant yearly Walthers catalog for hours. I was drawn to N scale because of space. I also favored European type layouts. I don't have the space now but I do admire the diarama portion of the hobby
@@barbatosrex9473 Oh Hell Yea, those big phone book size Walther's catalogs still pull me back into the train hobby. Same here I'm limited in space recently and starting two diorama's based on the mid 70's EL in Southern Tier NY. It's all about having fun!!! - Alex K.
Thank you for the product reviews. You mentioned someone makes little ribbits for the small holes. Do you know who? I can use them for my resin Time Machine model kit. Thanks
I have concrete block walls in my model workbench area. I have some paints that I do not have put on a paint rack I have to pick up the small Box and pick each color up to find the right color. Do you recommend any desk paint organizers.
I would like to see you do a review of some punch sets(for making headlight lenses etc).I am looking at a couple from Micro mark but they are expensive.
Super cool stuff there. I'm thinking you'd get a cooler marbling effect with the stencils if you raised them slightly off the surface with like toothpicks or something so it would create a softer gradiented edge
is you need a mini hand held "dremel" to take care of the nubs in you car kits, you shoudl try out the dispaie mini rotary grinder. smaller then a ball pen, battery-powered and slow enough that it's controllable and dont melt the plastic.
get a kia soul runs great. first owner. only problems i have had in the last 7 years was a racing deer and a few screws in a tire. didnt spend a penny besides your regular oil changes. never had hondai
As usual great content and love the new tool reviews. I do have a question, where did you get the model master acrylic shelfs and the Tamiya ones. Are they homemade?
I really wish I could have a hobby room like yours. But it would need to be bigger.... I'm a bit larger than the average size person, and I also do R/C and 2A stuff. Plymouth Ma.....I real familiar with the place.
I love the old Z car's they have a nice look to them. Currently I am after a Monte from the 80's which are great also same reason the look for the shape of the body.
thanks for showing us new product always great to see. Your room is so impressive 😳!! im shock haha and may I ask what is the brand/model of your airbrush holder on your bench?
How heavy is that pin vise? I've been looking for one for a while now, but a lot of them are too light for me. I want one that is fairly heavy so that it does most of the drilling for me.
@Barbatos Rex forgive me if I’m mistaken but didn’t you once review a spray paint can warmer? I’m looking for a product to warm up my rattle cans in cooler weather. Maybe you just soaked them in hot water?
Unfortunately I lost most of my kits in a move. It's why you see so many kits in my stash, I'm rebuilding my collection. My Nissan Z kit was stored at my mom's house and that's why that one survived
My local stores here in norway take almost 100bucks for the godhand set you got there. And 50bucks pluss shipping pluss customs is probley almost 100bucks anyway, its a expenciv set, but its one i realy want

Some people paint their rooms, other people cover their room in paint...bottles ;) Impressive collection.
Your paint wall certainly inspires a bit of envy and awe! lol

I know you like doing chrome tests and I think you will be impressed with Zurc Zuper chrome. No gloss black base or topcoating needed.
Already ordered and on it's way

Thanks for doing the Spin Blades Rex!!! Been on the fence for a while about getting a set.
Those things are awesome
They are worth the money if you like adding extra details to kits.
Heavens! That's a lot of paint! How will you use it all before it spoils in the jars?
What a collection you have. Impressive

Could you review the revell chrome in an aerosol please?
Is it available here in the US? If so who has it?
