A bit late to this party, but your review convinced me to buy Crisis Protocol terrain. Bought the NYC appartement building and a couple of the boutique terrain packs. Plan on using these to create the Racoon streets from Resident Evil. They seem to work perfectly
That scale does not seem to be 28mm to me. Even those trash cans are far too big compared to those minis. The scale seems to be somewhere between 28mm and 40mm. 35mm Maybe?
Thanks for the feedback. The only thing 28mm about it is that the height of the buildings come in at 3 inches which is the standard height of one floor in the 28mm scale. MCP was scaled for 40mm. We wanted to make a video for people to see what 28mm figures look like in a world made for MCP. It is in no way perfect for 28mm, but it will do if you want to play MCP and 28mm games and don't want to buy multiple sets of terrain.
@@miniaturewargaminglabs4143 Allowing for the differences in various manufacturers' sculpting and aesthetics, I think the terrain is perfectly acceptable once you paint it and get it on the table. Then again, I'm going to use it for Modern/Post-Apoc settings and I'm partial to hefty 'heroic 28mm' figs from Pig Iron Productions and Lead Adventure, so YMMV. Especially with more delicate figs from Empress or Spectre Ops.
I don't agree. The 28mm characters are way too small. Trash cans don't come up to your chest! Ironman is 6'6" in his suit and standard door height is 6'8", so this is perfect for MCP. A standard galvanized metal trash can is 26.25" (2.25" over 2 feet) and there is no base on it!!!. According to the American National Standards Institute, standard height for a countertop is 36" and bar top is 42". And, according to various sources a, Standard Astartes begin at 7' and top out at 7 1/2 or so. Probably a few exceptionally large ones that approach 8'. I would imagine primaris begin there and top about 8'3" - 8'4". I feel like you are being a bit too disingenuous. I do agree with you that the cars are a tad small for 40mm, but the building is spot on!

Thanks for this video. I found it super helpful. I think the 28 actually looks better than the mcp
Glad it helped! I buy this terrain mostly because it fits in with the 28mm so well.
Thank you very much. This was exactly what I needed to know. Happy New Year.
Happy New Year! Glad it was of use.
Thank you this was very helpful!
You’re welcome! It took us a little time cus we wanted to do it justice.
What about 28mm terrain vs mcp characters? I'm trying to find terrains for MCP and I fear the characters will look like giants
Mis dudas aclaradas...yo quiero usarlas para dust tactics y creo que es un buen producto para todo tipo de juegos
