I have a dream of turning one of these into a mini-camper. Paneled with wood, cozy and beautiful inside, but tiny. There's just enough room for a perfect little excursion rig though. I'm imagining taking out the front passenger seat as well as the back seats, laying down a bed frame all the way to the front. And then behind the front driver seat, you have enough room to do other stuff, especially if you use some clever engineering. A little kitchenette, maybe a workspace/desk, storage, a tv. Or just a more comfortable seating space so you have somewhere other than the driver seat or bed to sit. Not necessarily all of those things, but if you made things collapsible you could include a few or all of them, including a legal passenger seat. Then you also get a lot of space for storage, another battery, etc at the feet of front passenger seat once you've taken it out, underneath the bed frame. Bed frame itself acts as storage too. I've never seen anyone do anything like this. Maybe when I have some money to spend I'll give it a try. I would probably do it with the larger turbo wagon model but either way it would be the raddest little overland rig ever. Could take it anywhere.
If this Daihatsu Rocky 78 could come to Indonesia. Even though it's an old product, it's still cool. Is it like a window on a roof? Original or modified?
Can someone tell me about measurements of this F78 Rocky, also measurements of Feroza 5 door. I think this F78 is wider than Jimny 2nd gen and 3rd gemn
How much would this vehicle be worth would you say? Also I know nothing about these and am curious in MPG. I’m looking at geo trackers and Suzuki sidekicks when I came across a guy selling a 92 but not diesel.

Just have to put up with my old f55 Ute now, but it's a beauty.
I always love the growling sound of diesel engine. From the shape of over-fender, I suggest the front suspension are independent. 👍👍

Probably around $12,000 AUD In today's market. It used to get me 10L/100km. Dont know about petrols but the diesel is bulletproof!

My one was beautiful to drive. Very comfortable and plenty of power. Not good at going faster than 110km/h though.
