- Did you know Therme Erding in Germany holds the record for the largest spa of the world? The entire waterpark and spa is ridiculously astonishing and will make you feel like you're anywhere but in Germany, or rather, a 40-minute day trip from Munich.
If you're planning a trip to Munich (or you simply just want to experience the world's biggest spa), it is so worth making the trip out to Erding to marvel at this tropical paradise. In fact, stay the night at Hotel Victory, I can guarantee that by the end of it, you'll never want to leave.
Okay, but that's not the only record Therme Erding holds. It's also home to Galaxy Erding, which is the biggest slide world in Europe. Oh, and if you're into that sort of thing, there's also the Therme Erding FKK, which is basically a non-clothed section.
There's honestly something for every at Therme Erding Munich, from the insanely thrilling Black Mamba slide to the easy-going ones who simply just wanna sway around on a noodle at the Big Wave.

Yay! Yes, I was there in June, discovered it by accident, what a blast! I stayed across the parking lot in the cheaper Victory GastHaus, and the buffet breakfast was almost as amazing as yours! In the basement of the GastHaus, there are laundry and beverage machines, very handy! Thank you for showing this fabulous place, I can't wait to go back!

This does look pretty awesome. I didn't think it was there the last time we were in Munich but, nope, it has been there since '99. Turns out my local brother is a useless tour guide. He only took us to beer gardens, and parks with beer gardens, and beer gardens with beer gardens. And to think he could've taken us to a pool with a beer garden. 😁
