Hey Paul I love your videos and reviews of all the products you do good review of details and minor flaws and criticise to the point. Just small things to let you know that this bag is a very similar concept of SS super select that came up with the same concept of wheels and stand, charging cable facility, helmet compartment and even straps that was repeats 3 yrs back. I know it is mostly Indian market stuff which you don’t get to see often in your country. But I love what phantom has come up with their duffle bags. They are stunning and look quality stuff. Only Criticism from my end is they are not available anywhere even though they are just 2022 releases. 😊😊
How have you configured your bag? I’m struggling to get all my gear in this bag. Personally would have preferred being able to get the pads in side pockets to free the main compartment.
@@ianoliver6611 Using the Top hatch, i first put each pad facing outwards and make a cavity between them. All my thigh pads, Helmet, gloves, and set of Rubber studs goes between them. Use the top helmet pocket for Sunglasses and small accessories. Side pockets for extra socks, catching gloves, grips and grip cone. 12 US size Spikes fit perfect in the shoe pocket. Works perfect for me. Let me know if you have any questions.
@@Jahmed163 thanks mate. I had tried the pads either side but my pads seem to take up quite a bit of room. Granted they are decent pads. Newbery SPS elites. My U.K. size 10 barely fit! I’ve ended up putting my thigh pads in the side pockets. I think kit will have to go in front pocket at present. I just find everything just a bit of a squeeze as it is. For me big let down is the bat pocket. Barely fits a short handle bat. The USB power charge port is a weird one for me. I would have had the internal pocket and the lead inside and left it that. I’ve just bought one of these. I actually think this bag is a bit of a backward step on the anniversary. Seem to be less pockets. Once main pads and a thigh pad and gloves are in there is very little room in the main compartment for much else. Haven’t added my helmet in there but would think will rest of the pads. You have a charge point but you would have to run the charge lead from the port to your phone. Where do you put your phone? In the valuable pocket. Defies logic as everyone can see your charging your phone ha ha. Which pocket do you put your kit, wash bag towel in? I would also say that the shoe pocket is quite small. Ventilation is minimal. I’ve also found that the bat section is cramped. Paul you rightly say that a long handle bat won’t fit. I find that a short handle only just fits. Also found if your bag is full then it’s difficult to get the bats in. Overall I’m a little disappointed to tb money. My own personal thoughts. Be interested to see road testing it through the season. I also think comms from Phantom is poor. Only answered one of three emails. If anyone can offer me guidance or best configuration I would really appreciate. Great review though Paul. Nice to see you back. Happy season all Another addition. I agree. I too am a bit disappointed. The tags for example, whilst looking great are flimsy and break easily. The zip for the bat compartment has broken already and its not that easy to pull along when loaded with kit. Easier to carry on back, but after a hard day on the field its a bit of a pain. It does feel great on the back though and the design is great! I also agree about the phone issue and side pockets could be larger and the shoe pocket. For the price….a bit disappointing.
@@robsta76 I definitely agree with you. For the money it’s gone backwards. The shoe pocket is a joke. As a size 10 new balance I wouldn’t say I have the largest feet. They barely get in!!! Just could have been a lot better. Another couple of inches here and there makes all the difference. I mean if basically you hasn’t seen the video you would only know that you can’t fit a long handled bat in it. Also come on why a Velcro separator between bats? Your two bats clunk together as not padded adequately. Because of the size you just can’t put them in bat covers.
I'm not sure how much kit you guys have... but I'm a WK and can comfortably fit all my stuff in. I have size 10 feet and as long as you pack the shoes correctly it fits fine. WK pads in side pockets, all batting gear, WK Gloves + Towel and wash bag in main compartment. Plus 3 x inners, toe guards, grips etc in the front accessory pocket. I agree with the bat compartment, it is a squeeze, but over all I'm happy with the purchase.
@@Beaver489 maybe I have a duff bag then? Just feel it’s crammed in there. Plus not sure on the quality aspect as the rucksack straps are badly frayed on one side so much I will have to stitch together. Sad to say i won’t purchase anything else from Phantom.
@@ianoliver6611 I was purely going for the looks, but from what you've said I take it the bag itself is not very good from a practical point of view? My choice was either this design or B3's wheelie duffle.

I looked at lots and was convinced by videos of the prior model that the shoes would fit and other things like bats easily and you could utilise the side pockets for pads etc. personally think this is a backward step. I don’t get the USB port at all. You have a pouch for a power bank. Well then what? You have a red usb lead that goes into the side of the bag. Then you have to run another lead from there into another pocket? I’ve just got a power bank and a lightning lead which I store in the pocket? I would take a look at the DSC the bull or the H4L bag. Both were high on my list. Hope that helps.

This is an amazing bag.. i have been using it for last 4 months now.. holds all gear and looks stylish.

Is there a way to access the main compartment from the front as well or the front zipper is just a smaller pocket/compartment ?
@@samsatpat You can access the main compartment from front as well.. there is a fabric partition between main section n zipper for your clothes.
