Leesville Owls 2024 Nesting Season Begins

I was beginning to think the GHO had driven mama and papa out of the area. But they both visited the nest box last night and mama stay for while listening to papa calling to her from inside the nest box. Then she came back to the nest box twice more, with nest prep scratching. They both seemed calm, so I don't think they are feeling threatened by the GHO.
