Previously every tax rate is determined during union budget. No state has any right to oppose or disagree. They have to accept it.
But now with GST, any TAX RATE must be approved by atleast 19 STATE FIN MINISTERS out of 33.
Even if 13 states , out of 33 oppose the GST rate, it will be rejected by the COUNCIL.
What does this tell you? It tells me that many states including TN vote in favor of the GST in the COUNCIL, but coming out of the meeting, they oppose it. Thats my take.
I was expected to be here about Infosys and TCS results. I thought like today it will fall but fortunately got increased by 7+ percentage since I have got a good battery balancing it is good advantage for my portfolio. I don’t know what making this market up today, but feels good.

True things told about GST, Facing so many problem’s in this. We had received a notice for INPUT TAX CREDIT for the year 2019-20 , Actual amount of tax is 16000/- Interest 13000/- and penalty 20000/-, Totally we had to pay 50000/- for 16000 tax. Because the supplier not paid the Tax :(

Previously MF is sold by agents but now apps are giving direct funds and that is having less expense ratio and more returns that regular funds.
Those apps are also regulated by SEBI. and we can get the folio and see it anywhere.
So technology is replacing Brokers
No broker are replaced by this big corporate brokers (Apps) by that manipulation of market becomes easy .

When 2018 times when GST came in full effect lot of vendor will supply the material and will get the payment but they won't pay the GST and silent ta they will close the company and we have to pay the GST for them .
For that in personally i got lot of memo and meeting la dose .

GST for msme to be changed for service sector gst to be 5% only since the order placement company will take credit what ever the tax is there. So job work or service industry to be considered in 5% slab. More msme will be survived.

Not all the MSME as are giving 6 month credit, its not easy that supplier will escape easily without paying tax. Country is moving towards organized sectors, so small players get affected which is inevitable.
God really truth we paid gst every month 20th if fails to pay 20th 18% interest + 50 penalty per day but we receive payment after 6 months or 1year.
