Honestly it sounds very weak. It doesn't sound like they would recover much beyond what would be covered by small claims. Probably hoping for a quick settlement if it's not dismissed. I had a colleague, though, who spent all her time drawing up paperwork for every minor grievance against anybody who offended her, reporting colleagues for petty infractions, initiating disciplinary hearings and generally making people's lives a misery. Her entire apartment was stacked with files of her grudges, and I could hardly believe the amount of anger, malice and vengefulness she harboured, but some people thrive on that, as the Dan case shows. At-will in the employment context has to do with being fired. This lawsuit has to do with the guy claiming he didn't get paid overtime and is still owed wages; he isn't making a wrongful termination claim.
Seems like since Donnas arrest, and Charlies conviction, perhaps Harvey has been slack throwing the guy a bit more here and there. They seem to take care of people who work for them, so something may have happened with cutting him off in some way, and he’s retaliating.

Sounds like he was Maintenance person for one or more of his rental properties..and probably given a salary PLUS free rent which is considered an untaxable part of his salary..I managed high end apts in Miami for many years snd that was standard..
