I got a chance to hear the master Dick Vale play Misirlou, live, in Philadelphia - it was incredible to hear this legend still hammer it out in his 60's. Jake is a legend also with his Uke. Well done Jake!

Malaguena sounds good on a ukulele. I'll have to look up a longer version.
His Miserlou was also pretty incredible. Well worth looking for.

Try listening to half a dozen different renditions/arrangements of Misirlou and see if your mind explodes like mine. The famous Dick Dale, or the more modern Pump It by Black Eyed Peas.

No, this slides from Magalema into Misirlou, which it is titled as. And it sounds the same on piano and orchestra. Try the 1927 version from Turkey or Harry James in 1941.

What is that kid going on about? Thus would be great without the audience jabbering through it all. That Uke is getting a workout.

He's playing it in the wrong key though, it was originally in the key of E, he is in the key of A that was the only thing that bothered me

I've listened to seberal arrangements, and they all sounded good. Different instruments require different keys. Don't restrict the music's feeling because of notation.
