Another interesting video! A group of ladies at my church finished your Biblical Prescriptions for Life bible study and we all enjoyed it very much. I am now drinking water faithfully and have really increased my vegetable and fruit consumption and have decreased processed foods. I have lost almost 10 pounds and feel so much better. Keep the videos coming! Blessings!!

Figs and pomegranates were exported from a certain state in the United States all over the world back in the 1800’s. My great aunt had a huge fig tree in Louisiana and I used to love eat them in the summertime. Very juicy and sweet fruit. I love figs.

Why would the world need figs from the US? The world is full of fig trees and humans have been consuming them for thousands of years. Pomegranates too. The world isn’t 200 years old you know…

Me and my husband absolutely love fig bars! Its one of the main cookie we buy, though i never thought they were really healthy, I ate them only as a treat! I do make a healthy recipe for fig bars that are out of this world and my family loves them the best! Mmmm, making me hungry!😊

As a young adult, I was a woods tramper. A master hiker told me to skip the expense energy bars and pack Fig Newtons!

I wasn't a fan of figs either, but all I knew were dried ones. Then tried a tig on vacation in Turkey and oh my melt in your mouth goodness. It felt like a kiss. Then tried a store bought one that came from Turkey and it tasted totally different. (Still better than the dried ones) so if you ever get a chance to have a freshly picked one from a middle eastern land give it a try 😉

Just bought dried figs from Turkey. I was eating a higher fiber brand of fig newtons but wanted to get rid of the extra carbs. I read somewhere only to eat 1 or 2 figs per day if you're taking blood thinner, since they are high in vitamin K. So now I am enjoying 2 every day - plain, dried, not in a newton.😂😋

I eat REAL figs daily. I get organic, whole Smyrna figs from Amazon. No sugar, no HFCS, no added preservatives, no GMO. I LOVE ‘em! And they help keep bowel movements regular.

Fig Newtons are my favorite cookie. Although I stopped eating them awhile ago. Never once did I ever think they'd benefit my health with highly sugary highly, processed figs. Not even sure those "figs" are real in these cookies. I have personally never tasted a fresh fig. I've never had such an opportunity since I've never been in any grocery store that sold them, not even health food stores. I have thought trying to grow figs. I think I'd really like them. Love, love pomegranates. I freeze them so I can have them all year round. God knows it all and knew exactly what foods benefits our health.

My grocery store had pomegranates Ten dollars for ONE. 😞 Yeah that ain't gonna happen for me. Produce is too costly for many of us who on low-fixed incomes. I gotta support my local store who's been there for 62 years. But I would l ove to be able to drive disatance, once in a while ,to go to Meijer or Aldi's once in awhile.
Oh These are videos are really good Enjoy them.
