No they exsist they are just more expensive than prison, there are FAR less actual spaces for people (Esp male spaces) And even then a lotof Mental health workers tend not to want to work with someone who at any point might seriously harm them, threaten them or even attempt murder in a situation were we have to be nice to them compared to how the police handle them.
@@kyrusinek in my area we have a lot of mental health issues in the community and they frequently go the the local hospital and are refused care under mental health because they don't have sufficient resources to deal with them. The prison places are limited now because they are releasing people who should not be released to make space. Both services are in crisis. In my opinion, a lot of British cities have far too many " zombie- like " people in them, probably due to a large intake of a " drugs - cocktail " . . . .cities , in the 60's 70's 80's , when they used to be relatively safe , are not so now , Charlie is taking his life in his hands to video this, in order to show just how bad cities have become - huge credit must Go to chaz for taking this on.
Thought " artie " was Going to burst Into " bright eyes" ! !
Agreed. America is a lot worse though, it's insane. (Third party that has observed both)
Zombie pandemic
@@erikhansson22 I've seen that ,I've a few relatives in the states , Kensington philly is particularly bad for this , I think they take a drug there that makes them " freeze" for a few hours , and they cannot move from this position , so sad to see this, as I've been to the states in the early 70's and 80's , and back then, there was none of this insane drug taking , and it happens in Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Birmingham all too often , regards from Scotland, steve.
His videos show you things that ITV news won’t do but it’s like he’s read a hell of a lot comments on here, saying he needs to calm down with the aggressor.
Also the guy at the end is high or has really bad mental health problems. Also we don’t have enough money put into mental health services, as shown on this video.
Charlie is dealing with highly strung people, on drugs that have come from generational trauma. He’s clearly got ADHD and other problems going on.
Love when he was pissing in the streets guy in the window seat eating his lunch not knowing where to look hahahah
Jeez what a mess! Puts me off ever going back to Manchester City Centre!
It's why I'm glad I live in York. Still a lovely city with hardly any of these problems.
this is the content we all love lol
Prick,get a fuckin life..
It's obvious the guy needs help , so where is it ?
Grateful for your vids as you have convinced me not to visit Manchester. Its mad.
This is a shame, every city has people with drug problems. These videos just highlight that, but Manchester itself is a fantastic city that is incredibly welcoming to anyone.
You could take a camera anywhere and film stuff like this!
@@iMaskyy Im from Brighton and yes there are issues here ! but Manchester centre in the daytime looks mental way worse then Bton.
@@blimeythatwasclose I have lived here all my life and it’s not bad, the aim of these videos are to capture stuff like this, so of course everyone is going to think that it’s awful
As long as you stay away from Charlie Veitch you will be fine. He instigates this stuff or at least pours fuel on the fire.
Totally agree with getting that fella nicked anything but bringing kids into it WELL DONE BRO 👍 👌

Should of been arrested just for that voice

Jesus was born in a stable. That lad was unstable.😅

You know what? How distressing it is to see a young man of working age throw in the towel of life and waste what could have been. No dignity, no nothing, just wasting his life.
It's called the "pestilence" for a reason. And it's not the ill-kind.
It's a shame that the UK government won't help more people with mental health issues 😭

There is help out there, however it needs back up from friends and families too!
The guy in the street accusing _you_ of harassing people in the street is bloody rich! He's making a living doing it
You impressed me with this video Charles. Excellent!
That bloke at the end is how I imagine The Gallagher brothers would have ended up if they hadn't started ripping off Beatles tracks (and many others too).
Sorted, mate innit. As you were!
I wish Manchester was as it was.
I'm glad you film this place so I never have to enter there again!
I can watch this place in safety from afar
The stone looks like Blue John, its a type of stone from Derbyshire that carvers use for pots and things.
I saw a David Bellamy documentary talking about blue john in the Peak District.
What an absolute knob at the end!.
funny when the copper goes "we had it then, thanks a lot charlie."..it must be so annoying having this little dweeb popping up every two minutes winding up the person you're trying to deal with.

His parents are probably smack heads themselves. Guy was brought up like one.

How old do you think he is?
Where are he's parent?

What type of home has he come out of? Or even escaped thinking the streets might be better than the home he came from? Only to end up in this situation.

Yep Charlie is an entertainer and a coward come on Charlie grow a pair.
Problem with arresting someone who may have mental health issues is that they would have to put them under the care of mental health professionals and those services are basically non existent now. People are struggling and they are not getting the help they need. Its very sad.
I have also heard stories where people are moved away from their families to areas around the country, that is not right. The prison places are limited now because they are releasing people who should not be released to make space. Both services are in crisis. It's a very sad situation especially when a local lad is suicidal and desperate and is turned away. Thankfully our community stepped up and helped him out but it shouldn't be like that.
@@fionaboss1512 Its not because they want to its because there is no beds free, or the person who needs help needs a specialized mental health hospital and its the other side of the country and wont go. (which is understandable )
Even people who get better in hospital cant leave because no houses or communal living places to spare so it all becomes a back log. There is also a bit of a "postcode" lottery" issue. Its the council your born under that pays the bill, if they don't have the money then they wont send you for help. Unlike a genral hospital patients can be there for 6 months to indefinate which compiles the issue.
The average HCA and RMN's who look after these people are frustrated for the people they care for and are also taking the brunt of abuse from patients and families, who hate how the mental health system works.
I am glad you were all able to help that lad btw good stuff!
@@kyrusinek thank you for all that information I can imagine the frustration of the mental health care staff. The problem is our government won't give extra money where it is desperately needed. It's very sad

Is that ketamine Kyle at around 3 minutes?
The guy at the end definitely should have been arrested for breach of the peace because he clearly swore at the officers multiple times which is classed as abusive behaviour
It's not it's classed as public order sec 5 it's a 80 pound fine, or court , and just plead guilty you'll get a 12 month conditonal discharge.
i've been arrested for same offence for a lot less than these, xombies. many times in my 20's
