I love your channel! Just discovered it. My 4 year old daughter has 4 C hair and she struggles with bald spots on her edges and a really short back... These videos have been so helpful showing me ways to not only style it, but really slick it down and define her curls! Going to get some Blue Magic Castor Oil and the Mane Choice Gel!
Such cute styles! What type and brand of rubber bands do you use on her hair? I can't find any that don't easily break. Yet I am scared that using stronger ones will damage my daughter's natural, coily 4c hair! Signed, Conflicted Natural Hair Mom
I use the Super Stretch Brand (from Walmart in the "ethnic" section or the ones you buy from the beauty supply store that come in a plastic container (500 - 1000 count). =)
So cute!! Thank you for the video. How do you determine your child's type hair? I have twin girls almost 3 and I know their hair is different from each other but I am not sure on the type. Having setbacks now with hair loss on both. So discouraging and I just pray its not because of me and the products I use even though they are all natural and for kids.
I go by thickness and tightness of their curls. However, hair typing isn't an exact science. Most of us have several different textures on one head. Type 2 hair is loose waves, Type 3 hair is loose bouncy curls, and Type 4 hair is tight coils. =)
New subscriber. I love this hair style. Trying it on my daughters this week. They are 6, twins... sigh.. how often do you wash her hair and how long does the styles usually lasts?
Welcome to my channel!!! I wash her hair about once a week (I alternate between co-washing and shampooing). I can usually stretch her styles 5-7 days. =)
Hey I like your videos. I style my daughter hair to similar hairstyles too but what is type 4C hair? Trying to use and find good products for her hair. Thank you 😊😊
Hair typing is just hair classifications to get an idea of how tight (or loose) the curls are ranging from 3A to 4C. So, type 4C hair is very tight (often dry) curls (kinks). Type 4C hair usually needs a little extra love and a lot more moisture than the other hair types (in my humble opinion). =)
Beautiful! Thank you for doing styles like this because I can not braid. I'm binge watching your videos.
She is tender headed omg I feel her pain in my soul 😂😭😂😂. Super cute style btw☺️

Is that a soft bristle brush?
It's medium (not too hard not too soft). =)

Thank you so much! I use the L.O.C. method and wash/condition her hair every two weeks. =)
Naturally Tiffany 😍😍😍❤️❤️
How long does the hairstyle last for?
I can usually stretch her styles for about a week. =)
What do you use for shampoo and conditioning for her?
I rotate between Shea Moisture Kids Carrot & Mango shampoo & conditioner and Aussie Mega Moist Shampoo & Conditioner. =)
How long does the style last?
About a week. With a few "brush ups" here and there. =)
