Hello I live in Colorado and it's called housing catlist which is section 8 I believe I've been being stalked and harassed by idk I need to move back to my home town where my family is I was on this wait list for over 7 yrs. They won't transfer my voucher to another county. If I'm being stalked and fear for my life n my son's life what to do where to go to ask for some real help

I’m at a loss for words right now. I applied for housing assistance in October 2019. When I applied I had, in hand, a protection order I received two days earlier in the same county. I have two small children the youngest of which has nonverbal autism. I gave all of this information on my application and I’m still waiting to get housing assistance. I’ve been calling them regularly for months now and every time I call I’m number 68 on the list. I’ve been number 68 at least August. I just spoke with them last week and was told they would “start pulling more applications one of the powers that they decide to”. What the hell can I do?? Any and all advice would be much appreciated.
If you want affordable housing in Arizona they will put you on a waiting list that's years in waiting for something available! Arizona has a homeless problem.
Is Section 8 taking applications in Lafayette La. (Louisiana) .. i had a voucher but had to turn it in because i wasn't old enough (54then) to place it 57 now

I suggest you get someone that know how to help you.
I was told by the local HRDC, "You have to live in the area in which you applied for a year before you can port your voucher another area."

Housing coordinator is your caseworker.
Okay is evh the next step I made it to rrh permanent supportive housing in crises housing in the wait for a shelter has been over 3 weeks

You 2 options , 1. the housing authority that already denied you or 2. hire company like mine to help you.

I went to a dv shelter and got matched for emergency housing voucher. Does that mean I'll get section 8? I've been homeless since i was 18 and im 32.
