  • Jeremy Nienow attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) from 1993 to 1997, double-majoring in archaeology and history. Here, he reflects on the vital practical experience he gained at MVAC and UWL and the more theoretically focused studies he undertook as a graduate student at the College of William and Mary. Those experiences came together as he later earned a PhD at the University of Minnesota, pursued teaching, and started his own cultural research management (CRM) firm, Nienow Cultural Consultants LLC. One key theme running through it all: the importance of developing strong professional relationships.
