As a Dutchican ™ I deeply regret you not receiving any Drop! Also, if you want extra chewy warm stroopwafel, either pop it in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds or, do as we do and pop it on top of your cup of coffee or tea so the heat of the drink will warm it up. So delicious!
Hah, most foreigners hate drop though! So maybe it's good they didn't put it in. Fellow Dutchie here! Stroopwafels, Haagsche hopjes, cinnamon pillows & bolognese crips are a favorite in my house. I don't think they taste anything like curry though, because I don't like curry and I love these crisps. It is funny to see that all the standard things have been packed in this box.
Another Dutchie here. So much fun to see the content of this box! To be honest: I've never heard of that Fernandez cherry fizzy drink in the premium box. And the white chocolate sticks with popping rocks inside? Also never heard of. But I don't have children, so I'm not fully aware what kind of candy is sold nowadays. 😅 And the raspberry napoleon sweets: think the black/white liquorice one are more typical Dutch. But I know that most foreigners don't like liquorice at all. 😉
I love Droste chocolates (the milk/dark chocolate variety) when I could buy them on the Channel ferry. That was when I used to holiday with friends in a mini bus/camper van. Then some years ago, when I hadn't had Droste for years, I spotted them in St Helens - in Woolworths!! Of course I bought a couple of packs - what a treat. :-)
As a Dutch Scottish guy this is a great discovery, I've rekindled my love for Scottish food. The coffee cookies btw were my favourite when I was younger. Chocomel is amazing as is Fernandez but I prefer the green version. Lays are indeed Walkers Joppie sauce is super popular and tasty. Ah I could keep going on and on Haha. Thanks for the video!
The Nestle chocolate bar is probably delicious if it is anything like an aero bar. I love that texture of them. I would be in trouble with a monthly snack box that had yummy looking items like that in it.

I always try to read labels when u show them, to see if other countries use HFCS(high fructose corn syrup) in place of sugar...and from what I’ve seen here, everyone else gets actual sugar while we get the junk chemicals😢 I’m so happy tho to see yet another variation of the Aerobar...I just love how soft and light it is, but substantial bc it’s chocolate😍 This was a great box...good score!💐
What they do with the stroopwaffel is set it on top of your tea or coffee cup to hear it slightly. They are even better then. Or 10 seconds in the micro does it too.
I am Dutch and it was after the original the first taste. I love it. When I hear salt & vinegar or one of the many other flavours there are in the UK some give me goosebumps. I tried s&v but did not like it. You might be surprised if you tried 😊.
I'm in the Netherlands, I know most things except the popping choc sticks.. I got sick from Bolognese Crisps once so now I stay away lol..but that's me not them. you say tasters but what if you love something so much you want it over and over again? can you get them over there ? just wondering. we eat the gingerbread slice as a snack or breakfast infact we call it breakfast cake
