The 1937 Snow White was a landmark innovation in animation which up till that point was just small shorts. Snow White showed that a full feature length story was possible and, for studios, profitable. Even if she feels that the animation or story elements are dated, she should have been respectful of it's cultural impact and not bashed it in interviews.
Also... A natural less make up free beauty. Because snow white is a natural beauty hidden. Not hidden because she good at make up. Hidden because she is naturally a beautiful young girl.
