Thank you so much. I was fluent in my younger days but when I moved to Manila, I lost my fluency but I could still understand the language. Now I am relearning it and I'm so thankful that I discovered your vlog. 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for your classes. I am actually retaining much of the vocabulary, which is difficult as we age. Your method of teaching is nice and easy, thank you again for helping me learn this interesting language
Thank you for the work you are doing , Please don't stop uploading videos , there are not enough resources for Bisaya , I find your channel very helpfull
Your videos are helping me. Thank You. Like you said in your videos, I am putting the sentence structure in my head. And need to increase my vocabulary. Just find a category and learn while I go along. Continuing is important.
I've been listening to your courses for 6 or . I'm slowly sta7 months now. Starting to understand and make short sentences. Just wanted to say thank you.
I’m half filipino and since my family in the philippines speaks more bisaya im trying to learn it so we can speak it together and not be stuck on english only
After 10 years of living in the Philipines, im finally beginning to understand it . The problem is I'm a bit deaf and philipinos talk so fast I can't understand them 😢
Im half bisaya but my visaya is gamay ra & rusted. I find learning bisaya is much harder than tagalog honestly. Because many filipinos in Kuwait r usually tagalog speakers.
Tagalog or also called Filipino is the national language of the Philippines. Since the Philippines has a lot of languages, when Filipinos go overseas, they usually speak Tagalog to understand each other rather than their own native language. Tagalog is also the most widely spoken language in the Philippines while Bisaya/Cebuano comes next. ❤ Anyhow, keep learning. Determination is the key in learning a language successfully. All the best
way to differentiate kami (we exclusives) and kita (we inclusives) for example. for a group performance, we (the group) will perform on the stage. we here only include the group that will perform while excluding the audience. using the word "Kami" to exclude the audience from "we" the group. Kita is used for people you want to include in the activity or already in the same group. example, can we go to the mountain for some hiking? that sentence ask the listener if they want to join in the activity. Thus, they need to use "Kita" to include the listener in.
Hey I love your videos, I’m really trying to learn bisaya with your videos, my problem is I have a bad memory. Is there a easy way or what order should I watch your videos?
If you want to learn bisaya language try to used simple word like ,maayung buntag! Means goodmorning.maayung gabii, means good evening, mangaon ta? Means We will eat? Until your mind adapt the word and your mind aware the word to be used.
Hi. Nako is a contraction of Na ako. Na ako means that is mine. Example: asawa nako Longer version: asawa na ako. English direct translation: the wife that’s mine. English translation: my wife Hope it helps
6:53 - You say you use mang prifix for future tense when the "doer of the action" is plural, When is we/us not plural? So when to use mu or mang prefix is unclear as there is never a non-plural we/us.
Jonah! Thanks for the great content! You are a great teacher! Besides being such a pleasant person

Thank you mam Jonah. Ask ko lang po kung pareho lang ba sila sa Cebuano ?
Yes. I am really teaching cebuano now. But it is a cebuano influenced by a davao variation. But the differences are very minimal
Im going to davo in August 26 8 days untill i leave
Hope your stay in davao was great
How do I purchase your Bisaya journal?
Meron na nung textbook?
Is there a specific video as no. 1,2,3... etc to watch ?
Yes. U can check the videos in my channel starting from one of the earliest uploads. I placed numbers
What about nako? I always say "Nako asawa" to mean my wife. She's from Davao.
Hi. Nako is a contraction of Na ako.
Na ako means that is mine.
Example: asawa nako
Longer version: asawa na ako.
English direct translation: the wife that’s mine.
English translation: my wife
Hope it helps

I’m trying to learn for my girlfriend. I want to surprise her.
How can you tear a language with ado barking in the background
Why do you pronounce ko with the long o sound? I thought it was supposed to be pronounce with u.
Kami , doesn’t make sense to me
The sound of dog not nice
