However, I know from personal experience, if you are forced to watch something long enough, even if you don't care or hate it (experienced both), you start to get invested and get a liking, due to dealing with it for so long.

Pacing has been way worse in the anime, masses of filler, and HIGHLY inconsistent animation until the most recent arc. I will say the most recent arc is better in the anime, but overall? You're actually a clown if you think the anime is better as a whole.

I haven't heard the TMNT 2001-2003 Theme IN A MINUTE good song. Also 'Is One Piece good?' Depends on how much patience you have, cuz it's long, buildup can be slow and it has tendency to leave off on Cliffhangers. It also gets VERY emotional when it's ready.
I know I'm a bit late, but for anyone scrolling past: the anime adaptation has some pacing issues because its weekly & not seasonal. The manga is great, and is a lot easier to consume. If you really want to watch it, One Pace recuts the anime to be more in line with the manga pacing.
One Piece is good, but it requires patience and a long life.

The characters designs in one piece I find them very genius becuase u can tell a lot about the characters from their designs, where they are from, their relations, story and motivations are all in their designs, chlotes and tatoos.
