That dot maker (or a few) would be good for getting that comic book dot-printing effect. Especially when used for shading or color-layering/blending.

Love it! You could probably kickstart mass production of this kind of caps based on the engineering you did for this video. Eventually you could get most of the parts 3D printed perfectly.
Also, it would be interesting for such a device to allow users to set a specific distance between dots and then have a sensor that calculates the speed of the hand movement and adjusts the rotation speed accordingly to always spread the dots at the same distance. Probably a lot of work if even doable and would most likely increase the production price a lot, but sounds interesting, doesn't it?

Tip: to make it easier and simpler (as well as more efficient), make a wheel that shoots the spray out itself instead of letting the spray come trough every now and then. Then, as you’re spraying, you aren’t using up a bunch of the paint on the wheel itself.
Such a pleasure to watch the can control, no need to tweak things too much.
