- We head away for an overnight drone fishing adventure with the cousin Adrian staying at a camp right across the road from the beach on the 35.
Catching snapper kahawai and hammerhead sharks drone fishing . Adrian gets to taste test mānuka smoked Angus Beef Pepper Steak pies on the Weber Smokey Joe BBQ. Next morning I smoke one of the kahawai again in the Weber.

Hi Mike. I use the same lights, they are awesome.
I find if you snap off the little lock, you can tape the base onto the rod and leave it there permanently. Then just unscrew the tip to remove/replace the battery.
They are cheap enough, i have one permanently attached to each of my rods. Works a treat!

Bro I used a sharp knife to trim the inside of the clamp on the light till it fit my rod tip the white plastic is soft so it was easy to do
