Went down to the track yesterday to see what everyone runs these days, all Team Associated. Nice that you run something different,im looking to run something more vintage like Tamiya or Kyosho, how do you get on with the Tamiya and is there one you recommend for a beginner?
Hello mate. My main thing is the 1/8 cars. I find the large track much more exciting . I just do the 1/10 occasionally . It depends if you want to do 2wd or 4wd . 2wd is the most popular class but personally i find it frustrating as the grass track is so bumpy it takes some careful navigating. The 4wd track is more fun for me as it has jumps but the weather can cause it to be unusable a lot more than the grass. If you want a 1/10 car for beginners and like Tamiya I would reccomend sometjing like the t-02b or the db01 with some upgrades . Anything too vintage might get broken so I would reccomend keeping a second kit on hand . Egress or top force is probably the best vintage racer
