I love that these shows are so readily available online. I've been on a Hwasa binge for a couple weeks now and these clips have been fundamental in getting me closer to this queen
This is new to me. The driving instructor sits with you during the test in my country with a separate steering wheel and pedals. There is no time limit, but it’s done on public roads in real traffic. it’s worse than that disembodied voice because you get to see live the disapproving stares and the bad scores being recorded right next to you 😭😅 (11:33 and driving one-handed like this would have been an automatic fail followed by the walk of shame)
So true lol it's even more intense and stressful... 😭I'd have prefer doing the test like the way Hwasa is doing cuz in public roads there's way more stimulus and my brain gets even more stressed😅
I live in Sweden where you have to ecodrive to get a liscense now although almost no one does it in real life. It is embarassing to drive so slow before a turn. You are not to use the brakes when turning but instead let the car slow down by itself, then shift gear before the turn. You can also fail if you dont jump gears, drive on a to low gear because it is worse for environment
In my country too! 🇳🇴 Norway, the driving instructor sits beside you in the passenger seat, and literally has black glasses on, and driving on public roads.
Solar is an amazing driver who can handle a truck on bumpy hills. Moonbyul is a pro driver who would drive her manager and Solar to places instead of the other way around. Hwasa😅 she could be a scary driver or a normal driver depending on the day😂
@@enkhrii15 i remember during COVID they finally implemented like what Hwasa is doing.. big parking lot, nobody else in the car with you. Super easy. I’m kicking myself for not taking my test then.
this bring back so many memories. My driving test was intense as well. I remember being stress cause all 5 cars before me failed. Luckily I passed but I was legit panicked for a moment when the emergency bell rang.
I feel like so many people are so pressured to drive at a super young age and I’m completely against that! I fully believe you have to be ready mentally because for me it’s very stressful to drive, because most people that do drive are very unpredictable and you always have to assume someone is going to hit you. I’m very happy she’s showing this, she’s in her older 20’s and it’s never too late to get your license ❤️❤️
This is so true, I myself as a driver find driving as a serious and dangerous task, especially for teenagers who get their licenses at a very young age. Here in our country, you only have to be 16 years of age in order to apply and get a driver's license. I'm glad that MAMAMOO had their licenses when they were adults, except for Wheein, hope she will have one soon too ❤❤
It's completely different in S.Korea compared to us in the UK. We HAVE to be all over the road and sometimes motorway to do our driving tests. I would prefare Korea's version because it seems MUCH safer. Also we have someone marking and judging on our every move while doing it sitting next to us.
Was in Korea once. And while they good drivers, they drive with the temper of Italians. I remember one guy even gettin out of his car to yell at the bus driver while stuck in traffic💀 And it seemed to be a totally normal occurrence. Honestly, I would prefer starting out this way too for part 1 (like in the video). Feel like must be scary if you're a newcomer to driving there😂 At least compared to my country.... We drive like old ppl anyway🥲
nah cause I just got my driving license as well and I failed during my first time but then I swear that I just refuse to come to that place again and somehow I passed the second test and so damn happy😭
I took me 5 times with a manual car and on the 6th time I switched to automatic, I think the licensing officer felt bad for me, each fail I had to pay for a retest, he told my Dad just pass the cash and I'll help her out. It was very nerve wrecking especially as the officer is in the vehicle with you. Got to love 90's corruption 😊🇹🇹
Makes me wonder how many Koreans would be able to pass European practical driving tests considering - driving an automatic instead of a manual - not being in actually traffic which means not having to deal with pedestrians, trucks, busses, trams, cars, bicycles, motorbikes, all of them just doing their thing, cutting you off etc. - taking the test while driving slower than a bicycle in regular traffic would be fail - not even testing for 3 point parallel parking + the fact that stopping on a slope without any roll back in a manual is a whole lot more difficult than with an automatic Sure, it's a test and on it you get your driving license so it will be stressful but this looks so easy.compared to what we have to deal with. Next time Hwasa will get it for sure. If she had made one less error (like not leaving the parking brake on) and had been more confident in the backwards parking she would have succeeded.
@@Kgidiful what do you mean? there is another secondary test to drive on road with the instructor beside you ofc, you cant get a driving license in Korea just by passing this segment xD
@@kookie175do you know all the steps of getting it in Korea? Cuz the only other vid I saw was chuu doing hers and she only showed driving at the computer simulator and then I think when she got her license. So now I'm curious to what the full process is. For me when I got mine in my country, it was written test to get beginners, which is classified as g1. Then you have that minimum 12 months (8 months with approved drivers Ed course) then anytime after that you can do your road test to get your g2. Then once you have g2 it's minimum 12 months for your final road test to get your full g license. G1 is driving with your parents basically (passenger with 4 yr+ experience)except no freeway driving. Then g2 is basically like g. For the road test on both parts you have instructor(s)in passenger seat and they test ur parallel and stall parking, the first one is more focused on town/city driving and your 2nd one is freeway focused. Best time to pass the road test i found was winter time. I found they gave us a break if there was snow and ice on the ground. And if you do have 2 instructors the 2nd one is there to evaluate the other instructor so they will give 0 breaks then but they will ask if ur ok with it first. Oh and we used our own cars for the road test unless you pay extra then you can use your driver's Ed car lol.
Hwasa needs to improve on her parking… the way she was holding the steering wheel would stress me out if I’m seated in the car next to her!! 😂😂 Passing the driving test isn’t just about driving, you need to be able to park the car well. Once you don’t park well, it stays with you forever. She failed coz she couldn’t get the car out of the carpark lot without mounting the curb. This reverse parking is easier, wait till you do parallel parking!! 😅😅 I’m from Singapore and we have time limit for reverse parking too. 😊
I also failed my driving test twice due to minor mistakes. And pass after third trial😂 now it has been a year I got my own car & I can drive bravely on road. 🫣
I'm 19yrs old girl, This yr I got my driving license. I can't forget mine and my teams trail period, 1st I forget to off bike signal light so that supervisor scold me lot, Whatever he ask 2 questions after 2nd trail is car, In our country we use manual vesicles for driving learners. My best I pass ( sorry for wrong english grammer because I know few english )
wow, my drivers test in USA was super easy and not like this at all Korea has so many tighter spaces that I guess it makes it tougher I guess she'll get there, it's no big deal
Poor Hwasa....anyways my older brother taught me how to drive in a automatic car. It's easier & he tried to teach me parallel parking between two parked cars but i refused,i was a wuss 👀😳🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️ Anyway i passed my restricted license test & full license test. Luckily for me both instructors testing me in the car didn't instruct me to parallel park between two parked cars. I've had my full license for a decade now & I've never parallel parked once. I don't intend to neither 👍😁😷
Omg, I would never complain about the way we do our tests in here in Portugal if I ever seen this before... This is AWFUL! In here, you do the tests right in the streets and you can take your time!
This is insanely stupid, to the core. I am glad I had a normal setup with instructor and proctor with me in the car, ON THE ACTUAL ROAD. This doesn't test for anything, and certainly not whether you are ready for realistic traffic, especially in such big cities. This is idiocracy at best, and in reality really dangerous.
This parking brake is so much crap. It's only necessary on a slope. Facing Uphill or Downhill. On a level grade, it does not apply as the transmission is locked once the Car is shut off. They just want you to think about it. Well done Hwasa!
This is untrue and dangerous to be claiming; perhaps new cars lock the transmissions, but older cars, especially manuals, will do nothing. While it might seem level, the weight of the car can quickly have it rolling. It's called a parking brake for a reason. Use it, unless you wanna be paying for it.
Love the way hwasa looks here. All natural beauty ❤
Right… she looks so young. Natural beauty all the way

I wish we had driving tests like this where I live. We still have old fashioned way with people sitting next to us 😂
True it’d be less stressful!
yeah these courses are definitely better, i've messed up before just because of how nervous i became from the awkwardness in the car
And have to drive around on actual road with traffic. Korean do the test on big parking lot with different corners roads and parking to test.

Right ?! I dont get how they judge your driving skills without driving under real conditions. Its so much more difficult in France lmao

How can you fail this american style test? In Germany you have to drive a manual car with stick in a normal traffic.
