The fact that *everyone* , including the Pretender, his player, *and* the GM could not 100% say how his powers worked will never not be funny to me - whenever Condi isn’t playing relatively low key characters who are bright eyed or exasperated or both, he’s playing characters who are bordering on freakin insane

What happened to Jason? When did he die? I can't for the life of me remember if they ever said anything about it.
I thiiiiink Bizly briefly mentioned that Origami was dead in the very first episode of Prime Defenders, having been killed(?) somewhere in the time between the Prime Force oneshot and the actual campaign. In episode 7, William caught a glimpse of a man sitting on a paper throne in the spirit realm, a man implied to be Jason. In episode 17, Bizly mentioned a poster that suggested there was going to be a cheesy movie about Origami rising from the dead, prompting Charlie to make a joke about Lin Manuel Miranda making a musical about the life and death of Origami.
The campaign aside, Jason's death has also been mentioned a couple times in the Just Rolled - apparently the bois had a big offscreen session to figure out some of the things that happened with the Prime Force in between the oneshot and the campaign, and one of the things that happened was that Jason disintegrated into paper after saying "I don't feel so good, Miss G." Other than that, we actually know very little about Jason's death, just that he is indeed dead.
