THE FINAL PATCH FOR KINGDOM COME:DELIVERANCE (1.9.4) HAS NOW BEEN RELEASED.
This patch is the last the game will receive, and bugs mentioned in this video have long been solved.
cool and good
I was about to make the same post. Just got this last week ago and playing it for the first time. I didn't realize how lucky I was for playing this version. Really no bug issues to speak of with an exception of one crash--been playing it for 30+ hours so far.
Most of the issues have been solved for a while now. Still some texture pop-in, on consoles and low-end PC set-ups, but otherwise you should have a pretty smooth experience.
Hope you enjoy it.
Can I get a link for the patches on console please? :)
Im still getting the random darkness bug when it's too dark at night outside and indoors. When I exit the game my desktop is dark too, the only solution is restarting the PC...
Legend has it that before he played this for 500 hours he had an American accent.
😂 Cheers Geralt. Sorry about the "Batman voice" thing. I actually love your latest game. Very pretty.
Knight's Arcade Mhm.
That's great picture of you too by the way. Really brings out your nose hair.
Knight's Arcade Thank you for noticing, it was especially prevalent that summer day.
Funny thing is... I noticed this happening to me after 50 hours.
I love how this game makes rpg more inmersive by making a character as average and useless as me.
Yes, that was a brilliant move by Warhorse. I felt so completely useless at the beginning... and finally becoming competent with a sword, really felt like an achievement. Loved it.
Thanks for watching.
all rpgs should start you at nothing. i want the first 100 hours of my game to just be me farming. totally addicted to farming, and then BOOM! bad guys. time to fight. then you turn into jesus.
The first part of the game the character is useless but then later on he is in very special circumstances.
@@MooseMeus Jesus Christ!
I know, who wants to feel good when playing a game, I love peasant simulator, even at sword level 8 I can’t kill a snowman
“ Henry is so useless at the early stage that it took me 3 attempts to even run away without getting killed “ I really felt that 🤣 ohhhh Henry
I died at least 5 times while trying to run away.
I made the mistake of watching a video how to make money early so i kept trying to fight him. Got him with a bow a few times but got way too frustrated. After playing for a bit i realized i didnt need extra money at all
I died 34 times trying to kill the First cuman guy with a bow (which I stole of a Skalitz guard) and get his gear while running from the other 12 cumans who come at you like you slept with their mothers
@@thurmar111 You can just take all the flowers, I got like 300 coins just by that and I even didn't get all the flowers, make sure to get the +15% coins when you sell flowers perk
Thought id to kill them to save the woman kept attackin them before i realised the name of the quest
I love Henry's design. In a Hollywood movie he'd have boyish good looks (like Orlando Bloom in Kingdom of Heaven) or be grizzled (like Russel Crowe in Gladiator). Henry is neither, he doesn't look like a leading man at all, he just looks like a regular guy you might meet down at the pub one evening. Not bad looking, but entirely pedestrian. It's his actions that make him larger than life, not his appearance.
I agree completely. I loved Henry as a character. I hope we see more characters like him in future games.
You will be surprised if Warhorse show you the real Henry.
Both Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven were directed by Ridley Scott, an Englishman for whom the films were also produced by. Try using a better example bro.
@@C0wb0yBebop Scott Free, Ridley Scott's production company, is a co American-British company, which happens to have an American as its CEO.
Kingdom of Heaven and Gladiator were distributed by 20th Century Fox, Dreamworks and Universal, all American film studios, and more importantly, all distributed the films primarily for the American market.
Since I was talking about the way Hollywood films cast their leads to accommodate the Hollywood audience, and both films cast their lead actors to cater to that audience, I'd say they're pretty damn good examples, *bro*.
@@KnightsArcade he was handsome in the beta and I’m so happy he isnt
Archery in this game is actually harder then it is in real life lol
I know, right.
Lol yeah I tried using a real bow and it was easier to hit targets but it was a modern one not 1 made with wood
Some put gum on their screen to use as a crosshair (or how you spell it)
@POOR PIRANO BaCk In My DaYs. Nah Lol ok did not know that
Yeah it's pretty ridiculous, enabling the reticle (keeping the dot in bow mode basically) makes it far more enjoyable without breaking immersion in my opinion.
lol. Your character can’t read. I have to go download this game.
Excellent. Hope you enjoy it.
Yeah he has to learn and at lower skill levels words are out of place. For example james was right. Might be jaems asw Rihgt
Learning to read was one of the first things I did without even knowing shit about the game, including how to fight properly hahaha
@@Stitchpuppy01 Where did you learned? I'm currently on Rataje, and there is actually a scribe, but I always find him sleeping, day and night, so is there any other place where I can learn how to read already?

@@thegoldenchalice7434 what can't you do? Where are you stuck?
I’ve never never connected with a character as much as I connected with Henry. He’s the most normal person I’ve ever seen in a game.
Exactly. A brilliant job by Warhorse.
Even his appearances are fairly peasant-looking. I mean, he's fairly good looking and all but definitely not your everyday medieval rpg protagonist. It's not just him but almost every main characters in game except Hans Capon and Theresa. Just look at how ugly and petty-looking our liege lord, Radzig Kobyla is. It made the game way more immersive. I just wish they had more variety of character models for supporting/ minor characters.

I failed the quest where I was partying with Sir Hans.
I had to find the flowers and I managed to find one, when I decided to have another beer from my inventory, passed out and woke up in the forest.
It was a good and realistic end to this quest.
lol. I love that. It never happened to me, but I would have enjoyed it just as much. Brilliant.
Der Schweigefuchs - Audiobooks is it one of those games that forces you to go back and repeat a quest if you fail it or does it just say “gotta start a new save loser!” and give your failure some kind of permanence in the progress of the game?
I was drunk in Sasau, and woke up somewhere near the Cuman army camp :v

Wow this was probably the best paced, most well made review of a game I've seen in quite some time. You seriously need more subs!
Thanks very much. We're getting there.
I checked your channel out and subbed now, anyway.
Just wondering as a pc player and for the other pc players lockpicking was easy for me from the start was it easy for my fellow pc players?
Yes, your voice is very comforting, you could tell me bedtime stories any day, if you don't mind telling a man your age bedtime stories.
agreed.
Someone get this man a pc
by the time I played it (last month), it had been patched to perfection. i didnt' run into any bugs at all.
I play on pc as well, have to agree... I think the worst thing I saw was one npc walk through another once.. im 65 + hours in.
Ps4 is still buggy as hell.
@
nat4man LOL no kidding this game was very easy to pick locks on PC, I'm 39 Hours in and only broke 2 lock picks. And once you get a few levels and decent bow and arrows it's very easy to win all the Bow competitions or hunting. I'm very glad there isn't a reticle, as it's very easy to aim once you get used to it. Sword combat is also very fluid with Keyboard and mouse, and of course this game really needs a fast SSD if you don't want pop in.
I had constant rendering issues on my 1080ti. So... No fucking idea. Haven't played it at all recently though.
2020 here. The bugs are mostly fixed. A+ game.
Always good to hear. Thank you for watching.
Extraordinary game, one of a kind
So glad to pick this up again after 25 hrs two years later. Had to restart since I had no clue what I was doing, but I can get 90 fps @1440p with HD textures and it's such a pretty experience over my 2015 GPU when this first came out.
Those textures still definitely drag ass though
2021 here and on PS4, the texture pop ins are still there, sometimes there's issues trading with merchants (can't press any button in the trading menu except the back button) and if you start too many quests but don't finish them, the game can sometimes freeze.
As an ex-diehard FPS gamer (from 1993-2003) i recently finished this game after around 120 hours of playing (did all the side quests as well). This is the best game i've ever played. I'm 37 years old and i never got the same feeling from playing games that i had when i was younger. Both Skyrim and The Witcher 3 came close. But this game hit the spot. Luckily i only heard about it when they did all the patching, so very few bugs for me (PC). I hated it when the game came to an end and I'm really looking forward to the sequel. I'll begin replaying in hard mode soon.
This game genuinely took me completely by surprise. I hated it for about the first 4 hours, but kept playing because it was the game I had chosen to start my new gaming channel with. By the time it ended, I was so in love with it that I simply had to make a review, to say to people "Don't give up! It get's soooo much better!"
I had about 26 subscribers on this channel at the time. This review helped me climb into the 20-thousands, and helped me build an amazing community. Warhorse have also been great to me since back when it hit 500,000. I loved this game, and it has literally changed my life.
I'm very glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Maybe you can help me, is there a particular reason I can pick some very hard locks but others I cannot? Maybe I'm just really close to the skill level required
Do they not have NG+ here?
Edit: Oh, why would they? That would kill the point of Henry being a nobody.
Playing this on the PS4 Pro right now and I'm happy to report that all of the bugs mentioned are fixed. Literally all of them. Great work Warhorse.
Excellent. Thanks for the info.
I tried to kill ruth with the sword then I used bow and hit his head he died.(one arrow.)
I’ve been playing on PS4 recently and it’s almost too buggy to play - it’s a real shame because the base game is something I love
I just got the game a few days ago and other than a bug at the beginning where it wouldn’t play any cutscenes i haven’t had any problems.
Me too. No bugs yet
I would throw on the positive list: The detail put into learning to read. Pick up a book and try to read it when you are low level. They did a good job of making it barely comprehensible, with letters missing or in the wrong place in words, words in the wrong order and such so I am twisting my face (and my brain) up trying to make sense of reading. It was very immersive, I'm quite impressed with it.
I think the same has been done with alchemy. The system is quite basic and time-consuming, but it is immersive and the amount of interactivity is great. In games like the TES series, alchemy has been reduced to clicking. This game nailed it completely.
Honestly I thought it was written in some old English gibberish until I noticed the letters changed 😂
Same, it Is Also kinda cute to see Hal learning it
Just bought the Royal edition on Steam. Best $20 I’ve ever spent. I love this game. I’ve only played it for 1 day and I’m hooked.
Glad to hear it. It's an amazing game.

I finally took a dive when I saw it for $20 as well. I'm only 8 hours in and I'm sooo madd at myself for waiting this long to play such an AMAZING GAME!
I’m playing this over again. I have the DLC for this as well. Finally have some great armor and made thousands $$$
It is one of the most authentic games in recent years. Such a relatable story and characters.
I've played the game at launch and sold it after finished playing it (Loved the game but the bug was maddening).
Just bought the Royal Edition a month and goddamn, if you love the game's RPGness, you should play it on Hardcore mode. Totally immersive.
That drinking spree with the priest was the best. I would like to do that in real life lol
That was definitely one of my favourite moments in KCD.
"500 hours played". "It was okay"
Wookien I’ve played heroes of the storm 6000 games. Around 2-2.5k hours. It is okay. Balanced. God of war. An epic tale of epic-ness, I spent 80 hours.

Not sure where you are getting that quote. But near the end he praised the hell out of it in his wrap up and said "I highly recommend it" I think any negativity expressed was at the buggy state and the xbox version. And he mentioned in text that many of the issues had been patched after he made said comments.
Im hoping that some of the negativity on Steam is due to bugs that im sure are much better by now as this video is nearly a year old. Hoping anyway.

Within twenty minutes of starting this game I had been beaten unconscious by the town drunk, had my teeth kicked in for throwing fecal matter at a barn, ransacked all my neighbors' homes, and fled for my life from an angry mob. So basically the best game ever.

2 years since this video was released. The game in its current state is incredible. I have played the game on a high end pc tho so I don’t know about console. The only bug I had encountered was guards harassing me even though I had a torch. 70 hours now and I still plan to play the game even after I have finished the story.
Thank you for watching. It's still an incredible game. Glad to know you're aren't experiencing any major bugs now.
You speak like a real nobleman so this review is definitely as realistic as the game

Currently installing the game for the first time I was searching for a vid to help with any doubts I have regarding the game as I haven't followed it since it's release, saw your vid and more importantly the title and figured you'd know what you're talking about having put the time in and my word your video was a joy to watch. Informative, no caffeine addled enthusiasm for me to smash that like button, almost relaxing in a way to just listen to. Any fears I had about this are deleted and now I just wait. Thank You for doing what so many reviewers on UA-cam are unable to do.
Well, thank you very much for that comment. It is deeply appreciated.
I really hope you enjoy the game.
Been meaning to get into this eventually so glad to see review that's a fair few hours in so cheers mate. Subbed
My pleasure. Thank you for the support.
Henry is literally a proper blank canvas for us to paint our own picture on. He isn’t expected to defeat anything, be a good person nor evil. You can literally just play as a monk if you had no life.
Warhorse needs to see this review as a reference point (if it hasn't already) and make the next game even better from the past mistakes. Best review on UA-cam, hats off sir!
Very many thanks, my friend. Your kind words are greatly appreciated.
well... they did do all this with a much smaller budget than most games anywhere near this quality so....
& as stated in the video, there was nowhere near as many glitches on the other systems... in fact i got so few on PC that i was quite suprised by how many people were complaining about bugs, now i understand that they all just own xboxes lol.
@Phytom If you dont know why it is Stolen you Just have poor education
@Phytom no. I played the german version and from the very beginning the perk says you are not allowed to hunt down large animals. Until you receive the rank of the official hunter in Talmberg
@PhytomForests were often owned by the king and/or other nobility in the middle ages, and hunting in those woods basically meant that you were stealing from the king. I think this is pointed out in KCD as well, but I can't remember where.
I do not often watch videos like this the full length but it was a beautifully written review and unbiased, really good job on this!
Thank you very much. That's really encouraging.
Please do more reviews, this was fantastic, funny and informative 10/10
Thank you very much for those kinds words.
I would love to do more reviews, but I don't have time to make very many, and 2021 has been a bit of a "thin year" for video games. I have only made 7 Ultimate Reviews, and a couple of other quick "light" reviews, but there will be more in the future.
See this UA-cam? This is the exact type of video you must continue recommending me out of nowhere. I don't really enjoy this type of historical RPG that much but this review will have me getting the game on sale in the future. Highly likely I won’t finish it but I still want to experience part of this gaming-experience. Great video!
Many thanks for this response. I hope you don't mind that I shared it on twitter, and tagged UA-cam in it?

I love how the first 15 hours or so the game relentlessly reminds you that you're just a simple commoner
It's such a great game. I love how completely useless you are at the beginning.

@@KnightsArcade it's really refreshing. In games like Skyrim you can have dozens of bandits in front of you and you can mow them down in seconds. Here you have 3 peasants with farm tools jump you and you're fucked
I was very very into this game when it first released but didn't had the console to play it. No that I have a PS4 I'm really thinking to get it even 4 or 5 years after it's release. The only thing I'm wondering about is if it's true that after a certain point you become very strong and the game end up to be not balanced in the entirely opposite way as at the early stages of it. Do you know if that's how it get (a friend told me that you become too strong after like less than a hundred hours of play).
Anyway thanks Knights arcade for the video looks like a pretty good sum up !
@@nathanthomas-dubois1733 it is true that you become very powerful later into the game, however you spend probably 75% of the game being much weaker than most enemies. So when you do become powerful and be able to take on multiple enemies at once and win is very rewarding. There's also a perk system that lets you pick and choose your fighting style to your liking. And you only become powerful by actually training and learning new combos, you don't just become powerful, you kinda have to earn it
@@nathanthomas-dubois1733 I just finished my game this week and you do become really powerfull but you're like a master at the stuff you're doing. Like the little trainer things even say the level you're training at is master level. There are lots of cheeses when fighting the A.I too. Its pretty fun but the story and specifically the ending is severely underwhelming and that's what i would say is the worst part

Bit too much of a fanboy for my tastes. I stopped for a moment when he was speaking about the brilliance of having an unlikeable character become your friend (Hans Capon) and how they "swerved away from cliche at the last second"
... mate that is as cliche as it gets
It is actually more of a cliche to have a spoiled, unlikeable character turn into a good companion than you killing him in the end

I remember my first minutes with KCD. It was a nice evening outside and some time later I looked over the window and just realised "wow, it's a bright morning now". Discovering every single detail, learning new things, gaining skills and rising up from a simple peasant to someone who can survive those hard times was so amazing. That is why it is so easy to like Henry, because you are learning the world with him and that gives you a better feeling. I love it that game has many little details like glossary with knowledge about things we encounter, even wayshrines with devs names. And ofc fantastic atmosphere created with music and landscapes. KCD is definatelly worth of every single penny you need to pay for to play the game. The experience is just too damn good.
In the next Warhorse Studios game I would like to see story based more on the Hussite Wars at Bohemia and Silesia. With different choices to make - to support catholics or utraquists or more radical taborites. That would be awesome.
No idea what we're gonna see in the next KC game, but they are definitely working on something, no matter Tobi tells us.

Becoming a badass war-hero in kcd is like gitting gud at dark souls. Your gonna get thrashed in the beginning, but that feeling when you kill a group of bandits, or defeating a boss thats been killing you for hours (specifically you runt), is literally one of the best feelings you can have in gaming.
now when i am bored of weak bandits i go to Skalitz for some fighting with mercenaries
I ignored the pribyslavitz mission for so long that runt just felt like a normal bandit haha, kind of felt anti climatic

Fantastic video! Been playing this for a long time now, and everything you said is spot on to how I’ve felt. The appreciation you show for this game and the studio is heartwarming

It might be only me but it seems that Henry in fact gets smarter when he learns to read, maybe its just a bias or it was actually programmed that way but the dialogs feel more... proper, he may not not technical stuff like what an amalagm is, and his accent is still peasant-ly, but I felt that he kinda gets more educated with time and books.
It does seem so. I've never asked Warhorse if this is actually a thing, but it seemed like it to me too.
My favorite things about this game:
The Combat. Weapons play different and the swords actually use techniques like half swording (but sadly no ending them rightly or murder strokes.)
The leveling. When you start out without any skills, you're so bad a peasant can whoop your ass. But eventually you can hold your own against about 3 people (if you're well equipped and good with the combat that is, otherwise you'll get pummeled)
The realism. Eating and sleeping regularly isn't actually much of a hassle (especially later) but it can screw you over if you neglect it. Henry gets filthy armor, which doesn't degrade it but makes his speech weaker because he looks and smells like a rat bathed in a chamber pot and you gotta wash him off at a trough or bathhouse. You can repair your bladed weapons at grindstones for free, or pay a blacksmith to fix them. Getting wounds will be the death of you (literally) if you don't bandage them. Thick armor protects against wounds, but costs both nuts and your left arm to fix. Alchemy is actually in depth, with using the mortar and pestle and actually mixing flowers and various liquids to make your own moonshine or something that could kill a bandit if they do much as gently brush your sword. Henry actually gets a bit cut up when hurt and can get bloody, his sword gets slathered in blood and you gotta clean it off at grindstones, and the reading. When henry first learns to read, you read the golden goose fable, but because your reading stat is literally zero, it looks like Shakespeare wrote it when he was plastered, jumbled words, some missing, you'd understand a horse better. But once you read more it looks like your average Book.
And finally, the story. Who is henry of Skalitz? A chosen one? A muscly old paladin coming back from retirement? A skilled legendary swordsman? Nope, He's just some dude with bad luck. Henry goes from a weak peasant who couldn't cut butter with a knife let alone wield a longsword, to a well respected noble Fighter that scares the shit out of bandits and cumans alike.
So with all that said, I love the game. Most fun I've had on a game in a while, and already sunk in a while of time, now if you'll excuse me, Bohemia calls once more.
Well said.
Thanks for watching.
Azrael Cain 1 word. Riposte
Yes, but the game's combat balance falls apart once you learn riposte and immediately after that you can fight even 20 people at once just always fall back and dont get yourself overwhelmed. I still love this game but for someone experienced it this type of games its combat and learning curve gonna be too easy. When i first started the game i noticed that just when im crouched my stealth is increasing and in night its even more obvious. So I leveled up my stealth to 10 in prologue and could already steal and pickpocket really well. Combat isnt really hard because if you hit your first stab you can easily spam your RMB to kill the enemy really fast
Sold me. 14 minutes left on the download...

It honestly isnt that hard of a game. It’s actually one of the best RPGs ive ever played. It’s just like how people say that Dark Souls is hard. This is the kind of game where you have to think as if you were inside that world. Common sense is actually applicable, surprisingly gahaha. Israel Boakes just place it flat down, left hand push lb, right 2 finger carely carrass right stick. Work like a gem, no lockpick broke so far, and i’ve lurked into all of the merchant in rattay and uzl-something
"It honestly isn't that hard of a game" Meanwhile Me - *smashes keyboard 7 times in 3 minutes because he can't kill a bandit who has a stick*.
Does anyone have any good tips on how I can NOT smash my keyboard and mouse but somehow kill the bandits? Tried to learn the moves and blocking, but when I fight nothing happens, Henry just calmly swings like a child (or maybe i'm dog poop at this game idk). My skills are pretty high up but I do no damage :(. Please help!
Started playing this game in June 2019 on PC.
No bugs. Best experience I had in an open world in years.
Makes Skyrim feel boring.
Agreed. I just loved it.
I'm glad you experienced no bugs.
Thanks for watching.
Agreed.
ZiNG he was talking about it being the worst on Xbox but I have a regular Xbox and it looks fantastic and has little to no bugs at all now. One of the best games in years.
wait.... skyrim was boring wtf
Skyrim is boring tho
Such a great review, fun and good explanation!
Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
If you thought the game was insane just try the hardcore mode with no fast travel and no auto saving! I know the map in KCD better than my own neighborhood. Someone could drop me off in Bohemia and I’ll find my way to Rattay lmao.
Teach me your ways my lord
@@bricmong1942 Save save save! If you play hardcore mode save all the time. One time I started a new game and I was almost done with the prologue and I died. I realized I never saved and so I had to restart a new game. That’s my introduction into hardcore mode lol. I was so angry for the hours I lost lmao.
@@damuvang1915 auch.. Dont worry, save is a basic gamer rule
@@bricmong1942 Yeah no auto save is bad but no fast travel is the worst/best part about it.
@@damuvang1915 tbh the fact that you memorize the Whole map of Bohemia amazes me more and also fighting without HP scaling and Perfect Block reminder will be hard too..
it's 50% off on steam now
Yup also get the warhorse armor dlc for 2 dollars. The gear is worth it to collect in the early game after you get a horse.
I got KC:D last week through that sale. Wasn't sure what to expect but had liked what I saw back when it was only a demo way back when. This game is amazing. I can't turn it off.
zohanrock I just got it n I’m 15 hours in n loving it
@kupis1408 yea :D im downloading it now
@kupis1408 Nect will be AC syndicate
That "orange goo" is sitting in none other than the communal cookpot my friend, a legendary and (hopefully) non-existent piece of cookware, in which there be a stew of dubious and far reaching origin. The stew is always in the pot, and the pot always on the flame, as it has been for generations! Proper etiquette is to bring some piece of food (meat, vegetable, etc..) and add it to the stew, then take your bowl and have done. The pot never goes empty, and the stew is never the same twice, and so one might even be able to eat a stew that's been set to boil since long before they were even born!!!
Yeah, I went and looked it up, and that kind of stew tends to be called "pottage". What I can't figure out is what makes it so orangey red. They may have had orange carrots, but they wouldn't have had tomatoes, red peppers or any kind of chili or pepper-fruit, beetroot... I think they were just trying to make it look a little more appetising than the brownish goo it would likely have been.
Orange carrots didn't exist back then.
So is there ANYTHING that would have accounted for that colour?
Peeches.
Well its not really orange rather brown just like goulash which has its color from onions.
I've just gotten this game today. And, your in-depth and exceptionally expressed review has me now prepared for a quite unique game playing experience. Thank you!
Absolutely my pleasure. Just don't give up on it early on. It gets sooo much better if you stick through the tough bits and train, train, train, with Captain Bernard.
I hope you have fun, my friend.
Thank you for watching, and thank you for those kind comments.
@@KnightsArcade You're most welcome, mate. And, thanks for your advice. I do plan on sticking with this game, even through all the tough bits. This truly is a rare game, in that it doesn't seek to offer the player instant gratification, but instead a genuinely immersive gaming experience based upon actually working toward your goals. Sounds a lot like real life to me. Cheers!
Beautiful review, this is a work of art advanced to this time! even my PS4 suffer to load all the textures. I didn't know about all the real places and chars. and 500 hours dudeeeee!!!! I still have a world ahead for weeks!!!!
Thank you very much. I appreciate the supportive words.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your KCD journey.
Always thought about picking this up. Looks like you've helped me cross the line. Cheers mate. Subbed.
Good to hear. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thanks for watching, and for the sub.
I also just bought it :)did you end up liking it?
Marlon Brans waiting on the download but I love the beginning so far
I second that
One of the best RPGs ever. The world is amazing. I just hope Warhorse continues on this path! Imagine an RPG like this in the viking age, in rome... or in any historic setting. Awsome! Good review
Thank you. I hope they continue this way too.
Rome would be insane!
I can wholeheartedly say that if they made a Vikings version it would be absolutely brutal but amazing
they are making new project nobody know what but we all are waiting in expectation! :D
the cristian reconquest on the iberic peninsula (Portugal and Spain) that would be awesome... a game with the history of 2 countries we know nowadays
This may be the best video game review I've ever seen or read. Well done!
Thank you very much. That is high praise indeed. I appreciate it.
My favorite game of all time.
It’s absolutely insane to think this was Warhorse’s first game, AND they got their start from kickstarter.
Absolutely unreal
Agreed! It still blows me away.
Thanks for watching, and for the comment.
@@KnightsArcade Studio is rather new, but developers not.
Only saw your subscriber count when I was deep into the video. I could have sworn you had at least a couple of hundred-thousand. Great content mate! You deserve a lot more subs for sure. Keep it up
Thank you so much for saying so. I've had this comment a lot over the past 2 weeks and it really gives me a confidence boost every time.
Thanks for watching, and for those kind words.
Great video! Usually 20 minute videos are just dragged out nonsense, but I can tell you're very passionate about the game, and I enjoyed watching the video. Unbiased, and doesnt hold anything back, wether it be positive or negative. You earned a new subscriber! Cheers.
Edit: Also I might end up getting the game for Christmas because of your honest review! Thank you and I look forward to watching more of your content.
Many thanks for the lovely comment. I appreciate the support, and I will endeavour to keep you entertained.
Took me a few goes to get into this game, but when you do it is fantastic! (Great video too! Really sums up the experience, minus the bugs now. I got on board late after the last patch.)
Excellent. I'm glad you're enjoying it. It took me a long time to get into it as well, that's why I made the review really. I wanted to say: "wait... stick with it... it gets better!"
Thank you for watching.
amazing review, you should have more suscribers, love you work!
Thank you very much for the kind words. I've been away from the channel for a few months, but I'm back now.
This review is brilliant and well written, the metaphors are excellent. I think this is possibly the most well crafted review ever made. Good job sir.
Y'know... I think I might have to print some of these out, to read in low moments. 😆
Thank you very much for watching, and for your very kind words.
Kingdom Come: Fall of Rome. Make it happen Warhorse.
Rome sucks
they just released full mod tools, so it is possible now
So much potential here! Show the war between Caesar and Pompey. Make the main character a part of Caesars army in Gaul that marches back to Rome.
Realistic RPG.. is good.. i can play all the assassin creed settings with this genre...
There are so many war happened though the history. which can be adapt into really enjoyable game, a Kingdom Come game like set in Troy or somewhere in ancient Greek, would be awesome. there is so much potential
You have a superb ability to analyze things, they way you speak, your disposition, the use of the three argument rule (one pro, one con and lastly a strong pro), your use of language, excellent execution and a perfect ending which you tied the knot like a real professional. I work as a Swedish/English and a history teacher, suffice to say, I strongly approve! You have a new subscriber here.
Thank you very much indeed for those very kind words, they are greatly appreciated.
My wife is Swedish (and a professional translator), and I used to work in Stockholm tour guide.
Knight's Arcade please do more game reviews, I feel that your opinions are objectively fair and therefore trustworthy. I always look at reviews on UA-cam before buying a game and often feel like most of them are subjective to the individual, so I’ll be glad to have this channel to check into from time to time.
Kul att höra, svenska kvinnor är beundransvärda. Hälsa.
@@waffilushus Well, I can't speak about all Swedish women, but I certainly found a good one.
Regarding the reviews, I would love to make more of them, but they take me about a month to make each. And that's AFTER all the time I put into the game.
I recently started livestreaming my "Let's Plays", in an attempt to buy myself a little more time for Reviews and other Essay-type videos, but I'm currently suffering with a really bad throat infection, which... while not good for my content overall... is at least allowing me to make progress on a Greedfall Ultimate Review, which I recorded the voiceover for a few week ago.
I'm glad to have you on-board in any case. I will endeavour to keep you entertained.
I have had this game installed on my PC 1,5 y, and i still haven't given it a chance. This is a nice review, maybe i will try it next weekend. Very nice review, you just got another subscriber sir !
My pleasure, and thanks for the support. I hope you enjoy KCD. The first few hours can be tough.
That Odo Joke haha I knew I recognised them! amazing review
Hello there, Biscuit! Thanks for watching. Yours and HSkalitz's videos about the upcoming DLC were great. Looking forward to what's next.
Cheers for the lovely words.
What a great review. You hardly ever get reviews like this anymore. I will be coming to your channel frequently! Great video, keep it up!!!!
Logan Clifton Many thanks for saying so. I just finished playing "From the Ashes" DLC for this game, so a review of that should be up on the channel this weekend, all being well.
Thanks for watching.
So well done. Great job mate!
Thank you very much.
A truly pure immersive experience of medieval time. Frustrating, absolutely, but if you have the time and the will, it will surpass most or even all RPGs you have ever played. 10/10.
Agreed. Too many people give up on this early on. I almost did myself.
Even with all its quirks and "undocumented" features, this is one of the best games I have ever played and I've been playing longer than you've been alive, Ill be 62 in a couple of weeks.
HaPpY BiRtHdAy in a couple of weeks!!! I just bought this game, excited to play it :) :)
Lots of people have been really nice about this review, but I honestly think this is my favourite comment. I've been a gamer since the late 70s, but I am always worried about mentioning my age, for fear that the UA-cam Gaming generation will tune out. I am so pleased to hear that there are folks like you out there, fighting the good fight. Keeping us all in the game.
Very nice!
Thanks for watching, and for commenting. And Happy (upcoming) Birthday.
joooodah I highly recommend playing it on normal mode first. It's hard enough to get things done in the first playthrough. It's a wonderful game and have fun.
Agreed.
Knight's Arcade I've had some people ridicule me for playing games but it's my life and I didn't spend it all on the couch hooked up to a console. I spent a lot of time in my younger years doing all things I wanted to do before I got too old to do them. It's a goid thing I did because these days thanks to arthritis, I have a hard time just walking out to my mailbox. I'm not complaining though. Ive had a great life, a great family and God has been very good to me.
I love gaming and exploring all those virtual worlds. That's why I have such a good time in NMS, SKYRIM, or KCD. There's always something new to find or do. Then there are updates or MODs. There are so many MODs for Skyrim, I could easily play it for the rest if my life and not play them all.
Man... so much passion and care in this review. And showing a different way of seeing game. Love it! I am really excited to get it now.
Thank you so much. Comments like this are what keep UA-camrs going.
Thanks for watching, and for the kind words.
This review was amazing. Informative and funny thank you
My pleasure. Thank you very much for watching.
Almost at 2 million! Great review.
Thank you very much.
I have no idea how I ended up watching your review, but I'm glad I did ... Great work! Subscribed
Thank you very much for the feedback. 😀
It's been a while since I found a game review as polished and unbiased as this. I really hope you'll be releasing many more to come. subbed and belled! Fantastic job.
Thank you very much indeed... for all those things.
Knight's Arcade, you're very much welcome!
Awesome review, it’s actually inspired me to give this game another go!
My pleasure. I hope you enjoy it.
The only reason I made this review (and the reason I have now started making more), was because I HATED this game for the first 4-5 hours. But once it started to click... I just loved it more and more with every hour I played.
Thank for watching.
Knight's Arcade Definitely did, I also felt the same so I’m glad I’ve watched your video to have a change of heart. Really enjoyed your commentary and crazy metaphors!
Absolutely brilliant video, subscribed
Excellent! Thank you very much for the kind words and support.
I originally didn't touch this due to it looking like an overly buggy mess. My brother played it and said he loved it, but I still didn't touch it. I think I may give it a try now
It's worth it, but it is a really slow start. Check out just the first 2 minutes (ish) of my KCD Let's Play episodes 2, 3 & 4... and you'll see how much I disliked the pace of the game in the first 2-3 hours.
It won me over, and I'm sure it could you too, but it does take a while to start moving.
The bugs are not nearly so much of a problem since patches 1.5 and 1.6. I think we're on 1.6.5?? now?
Will do chief, thanks for the insight
i'm going to chime in here and echo Knight's experience, let yourself get drawn in the payoff for the slow start is a game that you will get extremely immersed in, i still need to go back and finish my first playthrough but i absolutely love this game :) i'm 100 hours in and spent countless hours just riding around exploring quite happily doing everything the game has to offer.
I held off for the same reasons but I’m 24 hours of gameplay in, seen few bugs, and none of them game breaking. Only twice I had to save and quit, which immediately fixed the issue. The story and gameplay more than makes up for any imperfections. I’d recommend playing on PC if you can, because then you can mod (easily) to save as much as you want. There’s other mods but that’s the only that was important for me.
Knight's Arcade To be fair that is an issue with the culture of a school of gold fish with attention spans measured in seconds. The first hours are there to set uo normalcy and immersion without which you wouldn't feel half the emotions the next five hours give you.
Great review and I hope they don't treat you console peasants quite as roughly the next time around :D
I cant wait to play this game 2 years from now when its on sale on steam!
Seems a reasonable plan.
It's on sale now :)
@David Beers Better than nothing though.
@David Beers assasins creed origins, £15 pick that up finally instead I did, maybe in summer sale and kingdom come will be same price bracket.
I've already played the game, but this is a very well composed and enjoyable review. Thank you, good sir.
My pleasure. Thank you for the kind comment.
Your excellent review and my realisation that THE Brian Blessed is in this game (9:48) has convinced me to finally buy it!
He is indeed. I loved the bits with Brian in. Thanks for watching, and thank you for the kind words.
You deserve a lot more attention, this is a very good video.
Thank you very much, my friend. Nice of you to say so.
Incredible review, it's clear the amount of effort you have put in. Consider me subscribed.
Thank you very much indeed. I always worry that I'm putting too much work into things like this... messing around too much with the edit... but some of the lovely comments have given me a real boost about it.
Thanks for watching, and for that kind comment.
Henry and Hans friendship is fucking like Merlin and Arthur’s and I love it.
I've started playing this game over the last couple of days, and it's been absolutely fantastic. It feels long ago i've had so much fun which so much difficulty. One of the rewarding games i've probably played, like ever. Really great review!
Thanks, my friend. Glad you're enjoying it.
Great review. All good points. *subbed*
Thank you very much, sir. Appreciated.
I love your completely honest review. Keep at it and I will most certainly come back time and time again to a genuine youtuber which is hard to find.
Many thanks for saying so. It is an opinion not shared by fans of The Witcher apparently. I had no idea how militant the die hard fans of Geralt could be. Especially over a simple throwaway comment about voice-acting (which is my profession).
Despite that, I will always give my honest opinions here. Thank you for saying so.
And thanks for watching.
One of the best, and funniest reviews I've ever seen. Sir, and am now a subscriber.
Well... thank you very much for those kind words. And welcome to the Arcade.
Haven't played this yet, but what a fantastic review of the game. Very informative and enjoyable video to watch 🦊
Thank you very much for those kind words. It is appreciated.
Love the video. Still haven't gotten around to this game, though I look forward to it.
Thank for saying so. And thanks for watching.
MEMORABLE I FORTNITE if youre on playstation, its on sale on the ps store atm.
I just bought this game 3 days ago and I´m now playing the 1.6 version. Its almost flawless and the best game I have played in years. This game is making history already. I love it to bits.
Excellent. I've been away in Stockholm for a few days so haven't had chance to test out the 1.6 patch, but I'm really pleased to hear of the improvements.
Thanks for watching, and for commenting.
I'm very close to completing this game after receiving it for free from the epic games store, and all I can say is this review really hits home. You really do feel like you are Henry of Skalitz and you rise through the ranks to become one of the most influential people of the era portrayed in this game. I give it a 9/10
Well said. Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for watching.
Started playing this the other week (early 2020, for future reference) and ALL bugs are fixed and the game is gorgeous.
Excellent to hear. Thank you.
UA-cam recommended brought me here, glad it did:) Keep it up my dude, you deserve more exposure.
Did it really? Wow. Well, thank you for dropping in. And thank you for the very kind words.
Great review, sir! Very entertaining and seemed quite fair and balanced (coming from someone that hasn't played the game). I've been interested in KCD for a while know but have never been much of an RPG player so I wasn't sure I'd like it. I think you've convinced me. I do hope the PC version is less glitchy and problematic, especially at this point. I won't hold it against the developers too much, especially since they've tried to do something new and quite ambitious. This must have been a lot of work, so thank you for putting in the time and effort.
Thank you for those fine words. Very kind of you.
It was quite a lot of work, but it was a pleasure to make. Just wish I had this amount of time to invest in more games, so that I could do more reviews like this one. There will be more of these from time to time. But they'll be pretty spread out.
As far as I'm aware, the PC version of KCD runs like a dream these days.
Thanks for watching.
Awesome review. Will try the game now. Thank you. :)
My pleasure. I hope you enjoy it.
That was the best game review I have ever watched!! Well done indeed
Thank you very much for the kind comment. I truly appreciate it.
