A lot of people have said that they prefer the escape music changing with the character in Swap Mode. Personally, I think it makes more sense that it depends which story you're playing, but nevertheless I appreciate hearing so much feedback, which is why *I have added a new option in the audio options menu that toggles whether the escape music switches.* More info to be revealed in the next showcase.
I VERY much appreciate the lack of new sprites, keeping the original Swap Mode to its roots. Though, I do feel it’s necessary to add a small detail to the end screen of Peppino’s campaign, compared to the Noise credits screen featuring an actor for Peppino.
suggestion: make noise and peppino's boss intros play at the same time like how the victory animations play at the same time. whoever's currently in control is in front for most of them, but whoever's save file it is goes in front for the pizzahead phase 3 intro you don't have to add this, i just think it'd be cool edit: oh yeah also i don't like how the music doesn't change depending on who's playing, but on who's save file it is. the music being character-dependent was one of the few things i think swap mode did right, and changing it was unnecessary
The only things I'd suggest are making it so the character who isn't in control still plays their boss/cutscene animations and what EEE.264 suggested with the intro cards. Otherwise, top notch work.
Noise should cheat the Vigilante fight regardless of who are you playing like he just doesn't care Also Peppino should react to the bomb in Noise story, it always bugged me how he just runs off screen and reapears after
I really like how some of the ideas were implemented here! I code on a mod called "Lap Hell - Pizza Pursuit" and have made little adjustements within the mod for Swap Mode as well but I'd like to ask if, with credit, I could use some of the ideas demonstrated here. I really like the idea of Peppino beathing the shit out of Pizzahead with Noise watching and honestly kinda wanna implement that if Peppino lands the last hit on Pizzahead in Swap Mode, but I feel like it'd be fair to ask first if you'd be cool with that. If you are, just lemme know how I should credit you. (Gamebanana username, the UA-cam here, etc)

I'm glad you like it, but I didn't use any unused sprites. If you're talking about the cutscene after you beat him, that's already in the game without the mod.
I think it makes sense for jonh gutter level, since in the noise save file it will play his version no matter what and the jingle that play when you win as peppino
This might not make it for the cut but here goes nothing.. How about if, after you beat both peppino's and noise's story, in two different save files, in the last one, it allows you to do a sort of mix run between Peppino and Noise's story? The TV is red (Reference to Swap Mode's arrow in the main menu), both Peppino and Noise lose it on Pizzahead's last phase, depending of the character the beat up changes in the last part, you save everyone (Bucket included) and in the ending cutscene is a mix of peppino's and noise's (Noise patting Noisette, giving the player a thumbs up with the Noisy and the winner sign, while Gustavo's comforting an exhausted Peppino that's being lectured by Mr. Stick) Speaking of which, both Mr. Stick and Noisette charge the gate, with custom animation of them giving the fair spare change when you pay them Noisette, The Noisy, Gustavo and Mr. Stick appear on the escape sequence regardless of the character Oh right, and if you unlock it once, it's permanent, just press the taunt key in the story select menu. (Quick Edit: So thought about it and it makes more sense that both Noise's and Peppino's beatdown happen at once, Peppino kicking PizzaHead's ass while Noise sets up the Giga-Noise-Bomb)
It's an interesting idea really, it could also blend in with some mechanics separately, like, whoever beats vigilante will have their mechanic introduced in the final cutscene. And i saw something about this Noisette and Mr. stick thing about you having to pay half to both of them.
This mod looks AMAZING! One critique i have though (not to be rude or anything) is can you change "Noise's Pizza" from the final boss fight to "Noises Candy Shop" as he canonically hates pizza (at least in the earlier builds)
I loved the fact that in this mod I can choose between Peppino or Noise's soundtracks, I honestly don't like most of Noise's campaign songs, the only ones I really like are "i need a noise" and Noise's unexpectancy. Now, the escape songs I find pretty meh, I don't think they have even half the adrenaline of Peppino's escape songs. But I like both Peppino's and Noise's unexpectancy equally.
Random idea: what if you could configure which escape/lap 2 song plays where, for example, you could have It’s Pizza Time as the escape and Distasteful Anchovi as the lap 2 song.
Late but if you could figure the a way to change the pizza face beat up screen to have Peppino and Noise just beating and bombing the snot out oh him would be dope. Imagine they suplux him into arbitration!
I'd like the change if in the TCTOP you could change the tittle card, making the noise as if it was making a pose next to peppino, one that shows his personality like peppino's pose
If there was One thing to fix about Peppino is that He Usually Plays the Carving Sprites when Rapidly Punching the Bosses rather than the Unused Rapid Punch sprite for him, Odd
Was going to ask if you could do something to Swap Mode alone, which would be a keybind to do Fight Ball without player 2, but i think it doesn't fit that mod? Little idea: Would be funny if in the final cutscene of Doise boss fight, Peppino would just scream because he got scared of Peddito (since it's like- demon recolor of him)
Since the back button is normally unused in the game, I would love to figure out how to bind that to the Fightball. Personally, I think Peppino just celebrating the Doise's death is funnier.

I appreciate the feedback. I personally think the escape music changing with the character feels disjointed and confusing, so I changed it. I also think the Doise being back for the final boss makes sense for Peppino's story, as it makes up for not getting to fight the Noise in the boss rush. Also I think it would be nice to be able to fight the Doise in Phase 3 of the final boss in some way.
This makes sense, if Peppino didn't kill The Noise, (who is arguably more annoying than The Doise) he would have no reason to kill The Doise. @@Gate_Captain_DW4

Personally, instead of using the doise for Peppino’s story, I would have left him in the noise story and replaced the noise’s boss fight with a Mr. Orange boss fight, it would have allowed to keep more elements from Peppino’s story like the noise’s boss gate and the noise’s background

I've actually been thinking about doing something like this. It may be done for the next showcase.
