I’ve been worried lately about how she might be coping mentally with that “rollercoaster” she talks about here…but every time I see an interview, I realise that I’m the only one stressing. She’s one cool Kat. There’s a Champ in there somewhere, no matter what’s going on on court….
I agree. What happened to her since the US Open is literally unprecedented. There is no template. I was also concerned about her mental/emotional condition. The thing is with Emma she looks at ANY experience, win or lose, on or off the court, as an opportunity to learn. Also a great way to approach life. She is wise beyond her years.
@@jgunner94 Long as she be having' fun (though who needs a roller coaster when you've just been seen tearing and drifting round a formula 1 race track in a Porsche 911... )
@@danharrow7458 Yup. I'm a 52 year old corporate lawyer (slightly abashed to have become so absorbed in the progress of a teenager in a sport I never previously followed)...but I find I can learn from her poise and attitude every time I see her......
@@jjheartwake2273 I think many people of all ages have become interested in the sport because of what happened last year. I have seen quite a few interviews with her. The one after Indian Wells last year after the US Open, I thought she looked vulnerable. She looked like she'd been crying. Since then she is learning about what has happened and seems keen to learn from her experience.
All the best Emma. What a great opportunity for you to play Serena. Enjoy the experience ❤️❤️🇿🇦
Dumnezeu să te ajute, copilă dulce şi talentată ❤! I love your parents of PROJECTING their beautiful daughter on World Stage! ❤

She’s talking about a literal rollercoaster there, there’s one nearby the tournament.
