I love the magazine, every page from front to back holds so much and you have inspired me to make a journal using cuttings from the magazines. Just found you, what a great idea to use these diaries, i had some old ones, and have had great fun cutting and gluing. Thankyou, and I'd watch you for longer videos too.
I liked your custom specimen slide and the way you attached it. The way you used the Amsterdam drawing was a good idea also! 30-40 minutes is a nice length for a you tube I think. Thanks for sharing Mich!
Hi Mich just found your channel just now. I do a bit of everything crafty or arty but I’m addicted to glue booking lol. Been doing them for several years , as proven by the mess in my art room lol. My preference for glue sticks (which is def what I use) is either Uhu or Scotch. The Scotch is much cheaper and you know we go thru some glue. I’m enjoying this series you’re doing.

Here at Michaels no Daphne's, only at Barnes & Noble and I didn't see one last month, are they coming out every other month? Oh Nova Scotia, one day I will visit.
This book is going to be so pretty. Do you purchase two books? One to keep and one to work out of? I love the bead wire on the speciman card. Thanks for the tip on the sheets to use in the speciman cards as well! 😊
@@michcrafty8664 Well, you are a lucky gal. It's too expensive in the states, I pay $17.95 for one and I'm very particular, think it over and have to really decide if I want the issue. When I cut somethng out with my xacto knife, I always put a cutting mat under the page so no other pages get damaged. I so enjoy your collaging Mich and really look forward to your video's!! xo

Gorgeous! I’m in the States and buy Uhu glue sticks from Amazon for collage, but I’m not sure if I would trust it to stick permanently in a journal. I use a wet glue made specifically for paper whose name I cannot remember until I look in craft room. I’ll comment in a later video if you’re interested. However I’m not sure if it would buckle magazine paper. Finding inspiration in your videos. Not sure if you will see comments as it’s been 5 months since you posted. Hope so!

Thanks Pamela. Yeah I don’t get on very well with glue sticks I use Elmers glue or Fabritac mostly. I’m glad you’re finding inspiration. 😊
