    Great environment, healthy animals. Thanks for sharing. Do you have any experience with pearlscale butterfly fish? I wonder about it’s diet and so on.

      @Maximka1100 Thanks! Working in a fish store we get them in. I have never kept butterfly fish, but I think pearl scale butterflies are a great addition to a fish only set up. In our store they readily eat Mysis Shrimp. Live brine is great to get a picky one ready to accept frozen foods. 😁

    Awesome looking, how big is the tank and how long have you had the Sohal ? I see be sort of chased the purple tang. Does he do that often? I’ve heard horror stories about them but love them. I’d really like to see the video on the angels and coral, specifically the emperor! I’ve had good luck with dwarf angels

      @brandonw694 Thank you! I will do a good video on that soon. I have had the Sohol tang about 5 years. He is beautiful and likes to be petted...lol..he killed my blue hippo tang a few months ago. The purple however is aggressive himself, so the Sohol only chases him occasionally because the purple fights back. My Emperor runs the tank, so he does a pretty good job keeping the Sohol in check. The Sohol does the best job I have ever seen keeping the back wall clean of any algae. Definitely worth getting one, get one small like I did and raise him. 😁

    Growing so nicely. Did he take pellets from the beginning?

      @AbsoluteZero6714 Hi there! Actually in the Saltwater Fish Store I work in, he ate frozen mysis on day 1. He was so tiny, so I waited about a month and no one bought the little guy so I brought him home. It was a risk because I have 3 dwarf angels, and a large adult Emperor. So he eats what the rest of my fish which is Spirulina Mysis, regular Mysis, and V2O reef caviar (frozen fish eggs). Plus seaweed sheets twice a day with the rest of my fish. 😁

    Have you personally seen the Goldflake eat or peck at any of your corals? If so, which ones?

      @queencityreefs Hi! The only one I saw him peck at and actually eat it also was a new red elegance coral, I just put it in the tank, it wasn't even fully opened yet. He ate the whole thing in less than a day. I have large green elegance corals and he never touched them. He never touched anything else eaither. All my corals I have to pick carefully because of my five angels....lol. I had to remove all fleshy acans etc.

    Also, what’s your trick with your elegance?

    • @WRASSEREEFCHANNEL
      @WRASSEREEFCHANNEL  2 місяці тому

      @gregorymowens1697 Keeping you Alkalinity, Calcium, and Magnesium all stable, and within range. Also phytoplankton and Reef Energy AB, plus make sure your trace elements are good. Weekly 20% water changes that never get missed help also. With corals and anemones water stability is more important than chasing Nitrates and all of that in my opinion. I rarely test Nitrates or Phosphates anymore. Also no salinity fluctuations....I always keep mine at 1.025.

    Do your angels eat your corals?

    • @WRASSEREEFCHANNEL
      @WRASSEREEFCHANNEL  2 місяці тому

      @gregorymowens1697 They pick here and there, but cause no real damage. I have to be careful when choosing corals though. No Acans or any fleshy corals.

      Are they safe either zoas, lathers, heliofungias, monti and green slimers?

      @WRASSEREEFCHANNEL  2 місяці тому

      @@gregorymowens1697 Montis and Green Slimer Acro....most of the time, not zoas, an I am not sure about heliofungias or leathers because I don't have any.
