New series "Trying to hit" where I'm trying to score a goal YOU suggest! In the first episode I'm trying to score the kuxir pinch goal made by kuxir97 and in the end there's a little tutorial about it, hopefully you enjoy :)

Thydar Nah, it's a proper 180 followed by just a backflip. You don't use air roll or anything. This shot generates an immense amount of power when done correctly

if u havent used your jump to leave all 4 wheels off ground u still have jump. how hard is that to understand. it works on any surface u can even jump on top of another car mid air and get a flip reset off

Aaaaaaah seriously guys, no he can't do the squishy's ceiling shot at rlcs. Have you ever looked at how kuxir does his pinch shot? It's nothing like how jhzer did it. But they both apply to be called the kuxir pinch shot. Now what would happen if jhzer tried to hit the squishy's shot? He would get something close in the first game, and almost every game, but it won't ever be the same. Why? Because it was a normal ceiling shot. It is dubbed the best goal in rlcs history because you don't score goals like that against pros in the semi final of a world championship tournament every single day. Especially when you have to do a full backfill so you can get in the right position. If it was in an unranked game, it would just be an impressive ceiling shot, but not much more than all the others out there. So please stop asking for it.
The difference between squishys goal and others is that he faked out an defender from the back wall before using his flick. Have never seen that before.
I really don't understand why people call the goal nothing special. Not only did he score a pretty damn sexy ceiling shot, it was a fake at the same time plus he did it against probably the best defensive duo in the whole game. But there would be no point in recreating that since so many things have to go exactly right..

Kuxir doesn’t air roll, he turns his car and pinches it with the corner. But yeah..
Nexual there are multiple techniques, I guess jzher found this one the most consistent for him.
I use endo and have managed to get the power towards goal quite consistent when I'm almost parallel to the wall and hit it with the front corner. Some more practise and I'm sure the accuracy will come as well.

Yes just try and shoot it from closer to your back boost. When you pinch from mid field it's hard to get the ball far enough away from the side wall

You should try the thing that OSM did on his stream, where he flew onto his back before the ball went up the wall, and then try to continue by bringing it into an air-drag. (In short, a turtle air-drag)

I know exactly how Kux does it. He doesn't air roll into the ball at all. He jumps flat and turns his car parallel to the wall and presses up on the analog stick, not diagonally like you would first think, just up. He is not shooting into the wall or tilting his car even, its parallel to it. This gives the pinch a lot of power and brings the ball out from the wall instead or traveling down to the far corner of the pitch. I've practiced for hours on end for months now and can hit it pretty damn consistently. Your welcome :)

Duck Oh, his RLCS ceiling shot during the Cloud 9 vs Method game. Yeah, that was pretty nuts. Although it would be pretty hard to duplicate. The shot itself is not hard for someone like JHZER but faking someone who is challenging midair and then getting the lift is quite a challenge. But I do think he should try this.

fantastic video, thanks JHZER! ive always wanted to see a flip reset shot, where you reset your flip on the ball while it's in the air, then reposition and shoot it in the same motion, still in the air. that and wavedashing on the ceiling to stay are the only real pieces of tech ive never seen used. there's only a few players who could even try stuff like that consistently, and you're one of them
