Me diehards fans of NHRA drag of the globes in california, one of the big event anually must watch, im from malaysias twin tower KL petronas.

Due to the rain-out, the race will be settled in October at FAMOSO when this race is run in tandem with the Wally Parks NHRA Nostalgia Nationals (aka CHRR). Should be a fabulous event ! Thanks for another great video.

A frame stress test every rum. Those are called mogals at the motocross track.
Not sure what is causing that. The track owner paid millions not that long ago to repave the entire surface with concrete. I think it may be more from the chassis relaxing when guys let off then a rough track surface.

nice and flat at top end bouncing around with out the side pannels you get to see how the power twists and turns the body the torque at the start on the slicks must be tremendous take care
I remember reading an article I think it was in Popular Mechanics a long time ago. These machines can develop 6-7000 HP but really never been dynode. Is that still true I wonder?
It’s still true… even modern top fuelers cannot be dyno tested due to the limitations on how much rpms the dynamometer can take.
Great coverage but would had like to see Funny cars and Fuel altered as well
I would rather see fuel altereds then TF cars. I have been going to Famoso for years and it got to the point that I would go get something to eat and/or go cruise the pits when the TF cars ran. Why? Because they ALWAYS blew up and oiled down the track. I was just getting a head start. I don’t blame the guys that still run TF (vs all that switched over to funny cars). The problem is the rules. Gear ratios, direct drive and the short tire makes these cars over rev.
Professional kind of editing makes for better entertainment.

Love the nostalgia Top Fuelers way more than the nostalgia FC's. The dragsters sound so good...
The nostalgia FC class has lost it's way. They barely look 70's FC at all.
They should've kept the FC bodies simple and period correct.
