I feel truly sorry for you if you can't hear the beauty of Angelo's playing for something as insignificant as squeeky strings. I've played guitar most of my life including gigs as a professional and I don't know anyone who oils their strings.
Its always funny how people can show their ignorance in one comment. It seems that a lesson on manouche music and guitarstyle is in hand... actually the resonating sound you hear usually comes from the strings or the guitar itself and its the common and wanted thing in these guitars. With no affend
Don't feel sorry for me, I can always listen to Tommy Emmanuel whenever I like. You missed my point, Angelo should be aware of the string squeaks that are made by his right hand, and appreciate that they make up a significant part of the sound. The brittle sound that is made upon the attack of the notes is extremely unmusical to my ear. I don't think that he is aware of it at all... PS. A professional guitarist who hasn't heard of "Fast Fret"? Whatever next?
The undisputed King of Manouche music Guitar! Long Live King Angelo!

Who exactly is playing at 1:35 of the video? Just curious.
1:32 Audio and video are not in synch, poorly edited.
I believe it is Tchavolo Hassan
