@GardeningUpbeat - Why are the leaves on my Vinca plant tightly stacked on top of each other on each individual stem? Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge about gardening 🧑🌾 Your videos help a lot!!
My both local variety vinca plants (pink and white)have the same issue of wilting and yellowing of leaves all of a sudden these days. I was quite worried about that. This video is most needed one for me at this moment. Thank you so much dada. I hope now both of my plants will survive.
@Sukanya Kakoty, Yeah, actually this is commonly seen during this time of the year because of the rainfall :-( But good thing is, local varieties are really very hardy and they don't die so soon and can survive well :-) Thank you very much for watching the video, much appreciated. TC :-)
Please can you write down the last mixture you used, is that for fertilizing? Consist of what? How many times we used per month? Need your answer. Thanks
@Rianasari Ritonga, Glad to know you found it useful and thank you SOOOOOOOO much for the feedback, appreciate it :-) One request - I would appreciate if you don't call me sir, please feel free to call my by my name - Chandan :-) Thank you again :-)
Very good dada 👍 you upload the video on right time bcoz not only in rain but otherwise also cause of over watering plant can die .It happens with me 😔 meri red & white vinca gone😢 , ab mere pass do aur colors hai .Mai unki bahut care karati hu , aur mere pass uske apane aap hi baby plants aaye hai 😊 , thank u for sharing 👍

Sir, thank u soo much for explaining in detail. I brought few like this without knowing the names.. watching Ur vedio makes me feel m capable to maintain through Ur instructions.. hopefully I ll come up with good results. Thanks soo much.. sir. !!
Thank you for a very informative instructions. I have some trailing Vinca seeds from Madagascar in a pot for over one moth and not one has germinated. I put the seeds in a pot as you described and covered it with extra cover on top of the pot to ensure darkness and no penetration of light. I water the pot sparingly with a fine spray keeping the soil just slightly damp. I can only think that the seeds are probably old and not viable.
I know im asking the wrong place but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Melvin Jackson Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Best use of seasons means best use of light which is important and mostly mainly needed. Moderate, optimum and neutral conditions are the requirement because it is surviving on.
My all types of vinca rather it is desi or hybrid or trailling variety , it's leafs get dried up in sunlight or its like got dormanted in sunlight or in daytime but night it gets normal. I cant understand whats the problem it should thrive in sunlight. But when I keep it indoors it gets normal but it doesnt bloom so much. What should I do?
Seeds need darkness to germinate and so after sowing the seeds, please cover them with the same soil mix. We don't need to cover the plant. Hope that helps and thank you very much for your words :-)
For summer, best to start at March-April and for winter, we can start from Sept-Oct. Hybrids can be grown both in Winter and Summer. But, we can better result in winter as they don't like too much rainfall in Summer. Thank you!
6-8 inch is more than enough..For example, just few days back I have shown my healthy plants on this video - ua-cam.com/video/G926W9iGHNg/v-deo.html Thank you!
@Bernadith Campomanes, I normally write it but forgot to add for this video :-( The components are - Bonemeal - 25 grams + Mustard cake powder - 15 grams (you might not get this in your place and instead of this, either Fish Emulsion fertilizer or Blood meal can be used) + Epsom Salt - 5 grams. Hope that helps and thank you for watching :-)
Hi , i had a very bad experience with cocopeat, that i ordered online. All my cuttings and lot of my plants died eventually. I was to know later that it was due to salt content. ! So i would like to know, what brand you buy and how you treat your cocopeat. .. thanks .
@Saluto, Sorry to know about that...In most cases, I buy from Nurseries itself as it's bit cheaper and they are not branded. However, I have used from Amazon as well and those were good quality. The brand which I purchased was - Cocogarden® Cocopeat Block (Weight: 4.5 To 5 Kg). I also don't do anything as treatment, use them directly. Thank you :-)
My vinca gets some white things under leaves n then black ants attract them . How do u I save my plants n what’s the reason of getting this disease ? From ur video I learnt that I must be watering more than required to keep the soil moist ... please help me asap . Thanks
In hybrid vinca which variety gives flowers in abundance and fungal resist and can be multiplied through seeds ,as i have heard there are some varieties whose seeds can't germinate u r experienced gardener that's why I am asking
To be honestly saying, quite difficult to find a variety that does too well in our place. I have tried many varieties, tried many methods but the Hybrid can't tolerate the rainy season. Quite disappointing..the stems are too weak and eventually they start to rot. The local variety is the best one for the environment like us. I believe, it's known as Vinca Tropicana or 'Pacifica...which is good for hot and humid environment. Here in my place, they grow everywhere and don't need any care at all. No stem disease, nothing! That's why, I grow the Hybrid Vinca mostly in winter. Thank you!
Sir...pls tell after propagation from cuttings of vinca when to keep in sunlight? Can we keep right after planting or after 1-2 weeks or after one one month? Pls reply
@Pankaj Bagul, Please keep in direct sunlight when you see at least some new growth...till then, keep only in bright area. New growth means, most likely cutting has already produced the roots. Also, please avoid providing direct sunlight for the whole day..you can gradually increase the sunlight exposure or provide only morning sunlight. Good luck and I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, thank you :-)
@ebrahim salem, Thank you for your feedback, appreciate it. For the rest part, please feel free to do your own research. And, if you have experience of growing trailing vinca, would like to know your experience. Please note, I am not referring to local variety that grows like weeds. I had to pull out lots of them as they were troubling my other plants. Thank you 😊
Sir, same problem. My 3 Vinca plants are leggy and leaves are turning yellow. When it rains, should I move the pots to a place where it would not get over wet ? Kindly reply
