John I’ll always be a fan. Can you do some coaching on the rats who don’t control their defenders when defending? When I get the lead on them I can take it slow and usually break them down but generally I really struggle to create chances on them

Side note: make sure you have “FC Trainer Toggle” to “show”

Hey there man im a new subscriber and wantdd to ask how the hell do i play like my opponents who have 2 plaer press on whoevers on the ball and the other players man mark and cut all passing lanes and have 8 people in the box so every attack is blocked cause i want to defend alot better

This should help, but start by going to the training ground and testing. I know, its not something we want to do, but its something that will help you improve. Test and see different button combos / directions you are looking / how many people are near by / how many opponents are in the area. There are tons of different reasons why they dont activate, but typically we are the reason, we arent using the proper mechanics. Try that video out to start!
My problem is im getting tackle from behind 🙄 . Its frustrating because most of these tackles should register as a foul. Second is when im getting pressured,the game sorta manipulates the power of my pass when im trying to clear it out. Last, passing gets weird accuracy at times im trying to pass it to a clear open player but of course the game passes it to an irrelevant player in the build up. 😢

Winning the ball with you defenders and the ball rebounding back to an opponents player is not something you can coach.
Then it's LB/L1 sprint boost or step over speed boost to the edge of the box, trickster flick, looping volley over the keeper because the game intentionally pulled the keeper out.
Both are coachable, #1 rebounds are and always will involve you accidentally holding down Sprint. Stop holding the sprint button when tackling/intercepting the ball/blocking and you'll notice the change. Besides that, players ball control is the issue. Then the second one is an exploit, you can defend it. It's just challenging. That stuff gets patched tho, so in coaching I usually show how to defend those but don't teach them because their lifespan to do them is short lived

It's how the developers try to allow an attacking advantage. If they didn't do that, it would only make it even harder. If you on ultimate, they don't break like that

Last thing a creator wants someone to say is they fell off. Understand life can hit you fast and there are things that can be more important. I took a month off since my mother got cancer and my father had a heart attack. Spending time with them and letting content get killed was and always will be more important. I'll be streaming again but not to hours on end with no point in sight. Every stream will have a purpose and will be engaging is the plan

I'm new to the channel btw , just wanted to say Hi ! ( and waffle a bit of course )
I coach as well and its been a frustrating year to say the least. The game is just so linear and imbalanced and too many kids with thousands of hours and mountains of bad habits that end up biting them with every new update. EA really did a number on us this year.
I also resonated a lot with the scenarios where the mind-games don't work out. I miss that aspect of the game. Everything is way more automated, CPU, AI reliant this year and its definitely frustrating when bad decisions or no decision gets rewarded more often than manually taking control and doing everything right.
I really hope for next year they do away with the Zonal Defense and all the ridiculousness that came with it.
