I loved your S2 reactions! You're right that Nick is really good and patient with getting Charlie to open up now that he's starting to understand the depths of Charlie's trauma. Charlie has also been so patient and understanding with Nick throughout his journey of self-discovery and coming out. They are both just so kind and loving to one another. It's been confirmed that S3 will adapt the next two graphic novels in the series, and I'll just say that if you thought this season was an emotional rollercoaster... we're really in for it with the next one. 😭

I have really enjoyed your reactions! I’ve spent most of the day watching all 16 of them! Little bits I’ve found after watching this episode (who am I kidding, the whole series) like 200+ times… -in the beginning the song playing is by Baby Queen, written specifically for Nick and Charlie, Colours of You. Right when Charlie opens his front door to leap into Nick’s arms the chorus says, “I’m covered in the colours of you” and Nick is wearing Charlie’s pride flag colors and Charlie is wearing Nick’s pride flag colors! -someone mentioned already, the last song is by Wasia Project (Will (who plays Tao) and his sister’s group) called You’re So Pretty - the first two notes of this song start my tears! -Imogen has not officially come out and she is not in the graphic novels so we are not 100% sure of her character arc or sexuality. The last scene with her looking at Sahar definitely leads us to believe there is something there and we are all excited to see where that goes. *one thing I noticed in episode 4, her first Paris outfit, is blue, purple and pink…but that might mean nothing or might be a nod to her supporting Nick, just an observation* -the scene in Nick’s room, ohhh this scene is so touching and the way it was handled by the writer, crew, cast…just impeccable. They have said that it took 7 hours to shoot this 10 minute scene. Kit and Joe were so emotionally spent afterwards, but they were determined to get it right. They knew how important this scene and their words were. -season 3 will be about book 4&5 and a novella called This Winter, it will be one hell of a roller coaster ride, but if season 1&2 are any indication of how amazing season 3 will be, which I have no doubt about, we will all be in awe and amazement when it’s done! Here is hoping for season 4, which (if Netflix green lights it) will be about book 6 (not out yet) and a novella called Nick and Charlie…and I’m certain it will be the fabulous continuation and beautiful ending we all want and deserve! (Not that anyone wants the story to end, but Alice said she didn’t want to tell the full story after Nick goes off to Uni.) So... Nick came out to everyone on the Instagram! I tried to look at as many the comments that his post got as I could. I only recognized 2 names: Tara and Christian McBride. Christian was the tallest of the group of 3 rugby guys -- the one that said something like 'We know that you and Charlie are good mates.' Christian left a positive comment.

this season was so powerful and so emotional i cryed in nearly every episodes its was so beautiful to watch and the cast and the writers and everyone who was in this and music its was perfect and u can feel the connection and feel there pain as well its perfect and i love it u can see how much he love char and care for him and i love it and i do agree with u nick is boyfriend that char need in his life that will stand up for him and just be there for him its was so beautiful to see this and kit and joe who played {nick & char} need to get warded for this its so beautiful scene .
This season really built upon the first season!!! It was honestly a treat to watch all the characters grow! It was also definitely more emotional, and heart wrenching because of the challenges each character faced! But Nick and Charlie (and everyone else), are stronger for it! Just a few highlights: * The friend group really got closer over season 2, as could be seen with Nick connecting with both Tara and Tao, even as he was struggling with how to deal with that many things in Charlie's past that clearly haunt and hurt him still. * Me as an "old fart" liked that the song the band was playing at prom was The Cure's "Just like Heaven"; I couldn't help but feel nostalgic about it as that song also played during my highshool graduation party (not live, of course) a few geological eras ago. ;-) * Is Imogen developing a crush on Sahar? I've not read the books this is based on, so I don't know, but it certainly looked that way. * I'm glad that Elle and Tao are finally on the same page - just a little worried what the next season will bring when that relationship will inevitably turn long-distance ... * Darcy needs to trust Tara more; she clearly loves and supports her, but that cannot work if she keeps on hiding her family troubles from her. Behind all her bravado hides a young woman almost as hurt and damaged as Charlie, I think. * Nice to see the season (almost) ending like it began - with the gang hanging out and having fun. Which leads me to the reason why I liked this episode the most, the final talk between Nick and Charlie, which had me tearing up more than once. Charlie finally let Nick in on what the bullying before season 1 did to him, and Nick tried anything in his power to convince his boyfriend that he does not have to deal with that alone anymore. That was a brilliantly written, staged, acted and shot scene - ending on the two confessing nearly their love. And of course, that's where the season ended. That's it for "Heartstopper" season two, which still is my favorite TV show season to come out in 2023. Sonia, I hope you now understand why I like that show so much - it was good in season one, but it got soooo much better this year. Looking forward to season three, where I'm hoping to see more of Isaac, Imogen, Tara/Darcy, Elle/Tao, Nick/Charlie and all the other people in and around Truman, Higgs and Lambert. They may not have sis it, but we know they love each other. Having read the books there are a few reasons why I’m glad they didn’t say I love you at the end of episode 8. First, we deserve the scene in the book. It is iconic. Second, these 2 boys deserve a joyous first I love you. I think saying it in this episode would have somehow lessened the emotional impact of Charlie’s confession to Nick. We’re meant to hurt for them in preparation for how they deal with it next season. We know, they know, now they just need to say it. ❤❤
I hate Darcy's mom, she is homophobic and racist and did you see when Nick open his eyes the light next to Charlie is on because Charlie is for Nick his light and the last 8 minutes breaks me,i was a mess, i work in a hospital and see many kids like Charlie, specially young boys and thx for your reaction and by the way i like Otis, he is very nice and Imogen is not longer an ally, she is a Bi-lly? 😅 and i can't wait for the shower scene next season 😋 and the last song is from William Gao & his sister ❤
