The way He is disinfecting the place, by spraying the turmeric water, how rooted, traditional and yet scientific the soul of India is. Cooking is like worshipping for Him.

He manages everything right from transporting ready food and raw materials, carrying them into his tiny and tidy workplace, clean up the front area with turmeric water, cook vade, dose, poori on the spot, He serves combos too without any fuss.. the audio background of Rudram chanting adds to the divine setting. What is most impressive is the simplicity of the gentleman who is running the eatery successfully into the second generation.

He used turmeric water to clean and disinfect the “VAASAL”(the small porch area in front of the entrance). It is a powerful disinfectant against germs and bacteria but it also does not harm some of the bigger creatures like some ants bees and earthworms which perform helpful tasks that are good for the soil. This is the beauty of our culture ❤️❤️❤️

Pleased to see a modest Brahmin eking out a living through hard work, maintaining hygiene, and sustaining traditional Tamil Brahmin cuisine in his own small way. Such small businesses ought to be encouraged by the community and society at large. Also, in India with just 14% Muslims we have "Halal" certified (often through coercion) food sold everywhere. Hope someday we will have "Brahmin" certified food sold too to cater to the dwindling < 2% Brahmins in India, and those who love this cuisine.

As my name indicates, I am a Tamil Brahmin too, and my grandparents' generation didn't eat garlic, though they adjusted later in life for their children's sake. Anyway, my "Brahmin certified" remark was a rhetorical one. I believe there is "Jain food" in many parts of Western India (i.e. without onion, garlic, potato) though not formally certified like "Halal". Strangely, even an export-oriented Aashirwad Wheat Aata has "Halal Certified" mark on it (had seen during a stint in UAE). Personally, I would like the Govt of India to ban all community-related food certifications, and allow only health / nutrition related food labeling.

Pleased to see a modest Brahmin eking out a living through hard work, maintaining hygiene, and sustaining traditional Tamil Brahmin cuisine in his own small way. Such small businesses ought to be encouraged by the community and society at large. Also, in India with just 14% Muslims we have "Halal" certified (often through coercion) food sold everywhere. Hope someday we will have "Brahmin" certified food sold too to cater to the dwindling < 2% Brahmins in India, and those who love this cuisine.

@@Simple-Indian Sir, don't mind me asking. Do Tamil Brahmins don't even eat onion and garlic?? I'm a Brahmin myself from Coastal region State Odisha..Here Odiya Brahmins eat non veg mainly fish. Though I come from pure vegetarian family.
@@gayatrisahulove_harmony5100 Yes Ma'm, there are several sub-sects of Brahmins (Iyengars in South India) not just in Tamil Nadu but across India (I know of some in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, MP, and UP) who traditionally didn't consume onions or garlic. As my name indicates, I am a Tamil Brahmin too, and my grandparents' generation didn't eat garlic, though they adjusted later in life for their children's sake. Anyway, my "Brahmin certified" remark was a rhetorical one. I believe there is "Jain food" in many parts of Western India (i.e. without onion, garlic, potato) though not formally certified like "Halal". Strangely, even an export-oriented Aashirwad Wheat Aata has "Halal Certified" mark on it (had seen during a stint in UAE). Personally, I would like the Govt of India to ban all community-related food certifications, and allow only health / nutrition related food labeling.
@@Simple-Indian yess there should be such food, but for the sake of the woke people let it be named "swatvik" and the steps of preparation, certification etc will be shown outside the shop. But the other people should show interest in it.
What hygiene nd healthy... In south India especially in TAMILNADU mostly they served in BANANA LEAF ... But he didn't... Even more hygienic small hotel places are in TAMILNADU...
