- Daniel, a pond owner wrote in with a question on his newly cleaned pond. He's already getting algae and wondering how to treat it. Hydrogen peroxide, pond dye, and beneficial pond bacteria are discussed as well as helpful pond plants.
If your pond is under 5,000 gallons, the PondBiotix SP can be a good option to jump-start a new pond, or one that's been freshly cleaned and refilled. tinyurl.com/pbspond

We have about a 3/4 of an acre pone. We have tons of fish and do not want to drain it. What do you suggest for a leak? We have cut down the trees and believe water has leveled out to the low . Thank you for your help
I would consider bentonite clay. But there are other options too. Here's a short article from Penn State Extension that may help. extension.psu.edu/fixing-a-leaking-pond
@@spiritualwarrior8386 yes I am definitely interested
@@spiritualwarrior8386 your not blocked...if you were you would not have been able to post a comment.
@@spiritualwarrior8386 By the way, if you mean blocked as in not being able to post a comment with a link...that's for everybody. Channel admins are the only ones that should be able to post a link in a comment, the reason being, to reduce spam on this channel. Here's a bit more information on the topic as well, because youtube may automatically remove comments with external links. www.makeuseof.com/why-youtube-deleting-comments/
If you have a particular product you like, I have no problem with you mentioning the name or suggesting something that can help people. But linking to it will likely get stopped by youtube.
@@spiritualwarrior8386 as I said you are more than welcome to help. Tell her where to find the information without posting a link. A website name is fine...such as google dot com. I'm all about helping people, but won't allow spam links on here (nor will youtube)...not saying yours is, but there are many bot programs that hammer the comments on blogs and on youtube, which is why YT has had to do this I assume. You're welcome to send the link to me for review and I can post it on here if it looks helpful to her and others. I have no problem doing that as long as it's not spam. Send it here if you like: www.pondalgaesolutions.com/contact.html
Are you a Tavin Dillard fan? 😊
Yes! I'm a bigger fan when he talks about apple frittlers and bacon though.
