I think those vanes are best on the market by far. Only thing I do not like is aero wrap but it can be easly replaced with regular tape. I've been shooting those vanes since they were released and never looked back. Oh, and I found that different batch especially with different colors could be factory cut slightly differently in relation to wave shape so you need to keep close attention when you just want to resupply your stock of already used vanes. Reverse curvature of area which sticks to the shaft (reverse to vane itself but in turn perfectly aligned to the shaft) helps vanes to be in place even if you shoot through your target bale and have to remove your arrow from the back. That alone should be immediately adopted by other manufacturers.
nice, but why not use the hooter shooter and take the shot variation out the equation? I know that you probably don't own one, but could borrow again... I guess. Anyway, great video... the test that everyone wanted to see and no company had the balls to do it
Thank you, again! I use them outdoor too, because of your old video, they are fast! Indoor time! Do you use vanes or feathers indoor? Greatings from Germany! Thanks a lot!
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed the video. For indoors I have mainly used feathers. I always felt they did an excellent job stabilizing the arrow and at the same time they have cool color options. If I can find a good way to test it would be interesting to compare the 2.
Shore Shot Archery thanks! Now I might start Recurve shooting these instead of the XS wings. Still debating though. An overall comparison video would be awesome though!
I don't know about the tape, I had the K&K guys fletch one of my arrows for me to try at the world championships a few months back, and the vanes detached after a few ends. I had one vane hanging on for dear life when I got home. I would have blamed user error, but you can't really do that when the guys that actually make the product installed it for you.
Again a great video man. I appreciate it. I have a question about form. I have watched one of your old videos and ı was saw your drawing arm was very high. But know it looks great. How do you fix it? I mean ı think that my drawing arm does not look well. My wrist looks broken and a bit high, it's really annoying me. Thank you again and greetings from Turkey :)
Can you provide any data in terms of scores and group sizes? We are not buying vanes for just speed or durability. In the end its the scores that matters. Thanks
I understand but, you don't think speed and durability effect the grouping and scores of the arrows? If your arrows are slow they get effected by the outdoor elements more and if they are not durability they will not fly or group consistently. I do understand your point on group testing but no human is qualified to do that. I am working on doing group testing but I want it to be done right. If you have any ideas on this I am happy to read them😀 Happy Shooting 🏹 🎯 PS: On my own personal grouping, these vanes for me group a ring to half a ring better for me at 70m compared to other vanes on the market.
@@shoreshotarchery undonhave a point there regarding durability.based on personal experience most spin type vanes are durable except for spin wings. thanks for your feedback!!!!
the only reviewer who can make a 7+ minutes speech with an arrow stocked to the finger to prove the good quality of a tape. nice one ;)
Thank You 😂

Greetings from Germany. Nice Video thank you !
Can you Test the Spider Vanes from Brady vs the Jet 6 ?

@@shoreshotarchery Yes, this would be interesting for a lot people!
Mine are fluorescent green, green, yellow!
How long are yours?
@@umimikimba1194 I usually use 3-4 inch feathers.
Would be interested in vane comparison review of all major brands.
3M makes a roll of thin double sided tapes. Way cheaper and excellent quality.
Do you know the name (model) of the 3M tape? I would be interested in trying it. For vanes I own Jet6 SV, soinwings, and AAE vanes at the moment.
@@shoreshotarchery Are u going to be doing Xs Wings review?
@@shoreshotarchery either 93015LE or 9471LE or 9075i
Do the SV vanes use the Heat shrink end wraps, or did they switch to normal end tape?
They use normal end tape

Interesting, I hope they don't change their tape 😭

Great video, can you let us know us know about your arrows, like the brand, spine length, point weight and overall weight. Thank you.
I think I know why the KSL are faster: they have less spin on them
