I use my Induction burner instead of my stove. Love it! Glad my Flintware pots work on it. Did the magnet test with them and it stuck to them. Love the induction burner so much, I just bought another one.
I've had my Copper Chef for about a year or so. I've only used it a couple times. It cooks fast, even on low! But I didn't know about the magnet thing. The lid handle gets pretty warm. But over all, it's great!
I have one of these, but most of my old pans won't work on it. does anyone have recommendations for a good set of induction pans without costing me an arm and a leg. (I need my arm for cooking)
ordered a box set yesterday off of tv with the grocery gift card and induction pan !! so excited can't wait to get it!! next to order will be the grill sheet??
Mine does not heat at all. I used the pan that came with it. The screen displays the temp. The fans running. No heat whatsoever. The pan is as cold as it was when I first placed it on the top

My grill sheet splatters grease all over do not cook bacon in it it runs over.

After pressing the temperature button you must press the " on " button again.
Don't wear rings when using it.
The pan is aluminum and just copper plated
There needs to be another metal, aluminum is paramagnetic material. All though copper isn't magnetic, it will interacts with magnets to some extent.
