I cured my seasickness by teaching my brain to trust my inner ear only. It only took a 3 (4?)-day trip through North Atlantic in a 52-meter boat (170 ft), in normal Atlantic condition. Ever since I have had no seasickness at all. And as usual when on a boat, I needed to work inside on a computer that was fastened so it wouldn't fall off the table. Usually there are no windows outside, so I can't rest my eyes on the horizon.
Ok, i haven't even watched this video till zhe end and i can easily say that no, sticking a finger into the gun barrel or plugging the hole by putting it on the end would not save your life. With air rifles you wouldn't die but your finger would be messed up. And that's spring coiled piston powered air rifle. When gunpowder cartridges are involved, say good bye to your finger or hand or life if the gun points directly at you.
