I have my first full Ironman in 13 days. Needed this video after a gnarly GI distress experience on a bike ride yesterday. Thanks James keep up the content dude!

Hey Manny, you're welcome! Good luck with the ironman (if you haven't checked it out yet btw make sure you watch my full video on how to fuel one!), hope you have a great race without any tummy upset!

Great content James... I am going to have to watch this a few times to completely absorb it (pun intended).

I overconsumed on the bike of my recent iron man. Pushed it to 120g/h. Should've eaten less on the bike. Almost shat myself on the run. 200m running, 100m walk- that was the limit until the pressure just got too much. Maybe the morning toast wasn't the best fit either... Have had the best results with rice pudding as breakfast so far.

It's so tricky! But it does sound like it might have been a bit much for you. Many people will tolerate rice better than bread before a race, so rice pudding is a good option
