Thanks for the great ideas. I will have to refer back to this video many times as I’m going either a very modified dashboardish planner for work next year. I am creating my planner from scratch and am having a blast.
@@CreativeKarmaDesign I am! I will have the right side just lined note paper, that will be for my lesson plan and specific class notes and my quote of the day. The right side will be a checklist and specific notes for things that aren’t directly related to the day of my class. I plan to use boxes that I have purchased to print and cut off yours and Reenie’s Etsy shops. As well as the date stickers etc. In the winter semester I teach 3 days a week for 5 weeks, in person. Then starting April I teach a 9 week online version of my course, so this layout I have planned will be very useful for both groups as there is a lot of flexibility in how I can use it. Then next fall I teach in person one day a week for 14 weeks, so I feel this will have the versatility I need. Once I get it all setup I will post pictures on instagram and tag you in them. 😊
You have great ideas, but I’m confused why you love this planner layout if you are spending time to completely change it and not actually use the pages as they are laid out. I checked out this video because I really liked how the pages were already. I like seeing how you have changed the planner pages to suit your own needs, so that is really useful if I got some planner pages and found that they needed tweaking. I’m just confused because I didn’t really see how to use the planner pages as they were, just how you changed them to be something totally different. Are there no planner pages that are closer to how you drew them out? Maybe you like free form planners? Seems like if you have to change them so much to suit your needs, then perhaps this layout is not for you and you should go with a different planner, or different style pages. Seems like you need a whole chunk of time in your schedule just to craft the planner pages, which is cool if that is what you like doing, but if you just want to write your lists/schedule and move on, this might not be the way to do it. Or at least make sure you schedule the time in. Great ideas, I’m just not sure I understand the why.
hi Jessica, I'm not sure why you think I completely changed the layout, all I did was decorate them because if my brain ONLY sees writing then I don't use the planner. Personally for my own planner I only use the right side page, and have the left side blank for to-do/notes etc so I can plan how I want. You can see HOW I use my planner as an example here: ua-cam.com/video/_mcxjSSwdvs/v-deo.html
Very pertinent for what I was looking for. Thank you!
You're so welcome! Glad it was helpful!!!
Hug your weird... I'm totally here for that! LOL

Just what i do 👍👍👍

@@CreativeKarmaDesign thank you!
Same principles used in landscaping. 🙂
You always use an odd number of plants and have to think about the overall look!!
Exactly! The only time you do two is to frame something, like a doorway. But odd is always better :)
I'm trying a horizontal layout in 2024. Thanks for the ideas!
I'm trying a horizontal for my journal in 2024! So I'll be posting some videos on that layout soon!
