First thing I do now when I see a new band, is go check out their live performances, because I’m not interested if they can only produce studio sounds. They bang it out, and she really has a powerful voice, just as good live, if not even better.

Oh man, you hit upon another one of my favorite bands. My intro to Devilskin was Never See The Light, which f'in rocks. Endo is also really intense, but make sure you read the lyrics so you can see what it's all about.

These guys are definitely a hidden gem. You need to check out some more from them. One of the few bands that can get me to stop listening to TW or FTF for a moment.

Great band to offer up PIP!! 🤘
NZ VMA Performers Devilskin has been #1 in NZ many times over. Not just in their genre, but overall. Lead singer & mother of 2 daughters, Jenny Skullanders vocal spectrum is incredibly vast. She can whisper sweet nothings, lull you into a slumber with a sultry clean voice, Belt like Dany from TW, all the way to rip your face off with nasty nasty Gutturals (Start a Revolution), that will make Alisa White Gluz & Jinger blush. So many amazing songs in their catalog, with many incredible OMV's to watch.
They are and have always been an Indy band, and that is why they have flown under the radar for all these years. They did tour in EU with Halestorm, but mainly stay in NZ. Their videos are paid for out of pocket, and not made to be all big production. "Mountains" is an incredible song with a low budget video, but it's badass. My all time favorite is a live version official music video of "Voices" where they thank 10,000 fans (DS Army) at one of their home shows for always supporting them. It gave me chills all over. Still does.
