There is a process or procedure that has to be undertaken such as communication to the EAC community of the new road as well as other stakeholders such as logistic companies through the Ministry, lowering of the type of road class of the old Uganda road since the new road is expected to take up heavy vehicles through gazette. Eldoret is the coolest place one can live.. Fresh food, fresh air, cool people,state of the art hospitality 5* hotels, health care, educational institutions , ready markets i.e urbanisation, good road network , technologically advanced etc..
Eldoret is a good place to live but bad politics are killing the name for that place. Thanks to athletes like Kipchoge who make us see the good side of Eldoret

Even Nairobi itself is a mistake, everybody going to work in the CBD... Look at developed cities like Doha, you will just be walking alone in the streets, no people at all... Congestion is only experienced in Nairobi and Kampala because all businesses are in the CBD including mama mboga na mtu WA mpesa... Go to kisumu and see what a city should look like, all small businesses are outside the CBD.. you only go to the CBD when you have an important thing to do there.. most of us when we are in kisumu we don't need to go to the CBD, naonanga CBD ni mbali, nachezea tu hapo bus park, nyuma ya k-city, Jubilee market, kibuye , kondele, nyamasaria, hapo United mall, mega city , oile..etc.. most people don't go to town in kisumu unless they have business there.. Now go to Eldoret and nakuru, everybody is going to work in the CBD, hustle zote ziko cbd, markets zote Hadi ya kukata mboga, stage zote ziko at the middle of the town, trailer zinapita... Sasa hio ni business 😆😂

Many, many years ago, 4 of us wanted to buy land near Eldoret because it was damn cheap. We dragged our feet and never bought it, even tho we had the cash. Moral of the story, act on your intentions.
