I don't think I'll ever buy a fragrance from this line and I don't doubt there are some good ones, it's jut the way they were created: all brands are releasing private lines let's do ours! Of course they can do whatever they want it it's a business, and as long as people buy them... I just can't see any real substance behind the line as in other brands like... Guerlain, they can do whatever they want, they have the heritage, also the price and that I don't like faceted round bottles in general 😆 Anyway I enjoy the Samplin' thank you Marc!!!
The one thing about Herrera is even though the private line is really expensive and hard to find it is head and shoulder above the original line for men which it should be.
I have Carolina Herrera Saffron Lazuli from the Confidential line. I picked it up in the late-spring and cannot wait to start wearing it once the cold weather arrives.
@@robes08The Saffron Lazuli is a great pickup imo. Saffron is very well blended with the other notes. I pickup hints of roses, but the leather & vanilla backbone makes it perfectly masculine. The notes may lead some to think this is solely a cold wether scent, but I actually find this frag most suitable for Fall / spring, as the Black Currant up top, keeps this scent balanced & quite wearable in transition seasons. Not sure it would cut through on real cold days, but even summer nights this can be be pulled off. Great scent overall.
I have been really interested in this one. Good to hear your take on it. Their other "leather" looks better. And the reviews on True Oud have been very good.
This channel was always about my journey and sampling is a big part of discovery. I love sharing my thoughts on random samples even if they are bad. Looking at this video in particular, I see there's no real stand alone video on this scent on the tube so this video hopefully helps someone out. This also keeps things fresh for me, talk about brands that I don't own much from.

I have a sample of the "other" leather and look forward to sniffing it, the True Oud is on my wishlist as well.
Yeah, stallion leather is much better... Had a chance to sniff it in a duty free in Paris
